With the Daughters of Aku from Samurai Jack, I don't see them as examples.

This trope is when fans take the good traits out of a villain and exaggerate them, while ignoring the traits that makes someone a villain in the first place. These women come off as tragic villains because they think they are the heroes for attempting to kill Jack, but they are unaware of the fact that they were brainwashed.

Fans never try to justify their actions towards Jack. They only feel sorry fo them because the girls never had a choice regarding their alignment, and even Jack didn't know this.

I'd suggest maybe removing the Luna from the MLP section and limiting that example to her Nightmare Moon state since she made a pretty quick Heel–Face Turn in Cannon and became the The Atoner.

I'm going to go ahead and do it, someone can alway's revert if they think she needs added back.

Done, also removed a small political term that I was afraid might be Flame Bait from the Flim Flam example.
