Unfortunately, Eiichiro Oda has not confirmed that the Straw Hats are expies of Lupin III.
He/His/Him. No matter who you are, always Be Yourself.A troper just made a page for each of the straw hats... are those pages big enough?
There isn't an impossible dream, there are only people who give up Hide / Show RepliesBrook and especially Jinbe's aren't big enough to warrant one yet, they should be moved back. Franky does meet the minimum byte requirement for one at 40,420 bytes without the navigation index, though I'm not sure if there's been cleanup in regards to his tropes or not.
Is it appropriate to say Nico Robyn is a Shameless Fanservice Girl? Even as a downplayed example due to wearing less revealing clothing than Nami, Robyn never shows any shame in being seen naked or in revealing clothing. This is most visible in: The Post-Water-7 Arc Filler. In the beginning of the third episode when a photographer asks her and Nami for poses in bikinis, the latter is the only one showing any resistance because, according to Nami, they'll only pose if the photographers pay them. Robyn tries to say something to Nami before the latter explains why, but the way the former words it implies she has even less shame than Nami. Given this is almost right after Robyn's Rescue Arc, my first thought was to think she adopted this trope as a form of Escapism from her Dark and Troubled Past. Near the end of Punk Hazard. When she comes out of the bath in a Modesty Towel while holding Momonosuke, she remains nonchalant at Sanji, Brook, and Kin'emon's presences; even without Momonosuke's blatant Dirty Kid antics, it goes without saying most other women would be embarrassed. Speaking of Momonosuke, she does show discomfort on Zou when the kid darts against her and grabs her breast, but it's implied to be more towards his suddenness than him liking her body in the first place. In the Wano bathhouse. When a group of pervy men start staring at her and Nami, Robyn shows no discomfort from their presence. Even when she shows discomfort, it's more toward the idea of soaking in the water than the men. Also, after Sanji rescues them from Hawkins and Drake only Nami shows anger at his presence in the bathhouse while Robyn remains nonchalant. You could say it was because Nami got accidentally stripped and not Robyn, but Sanji's Invisiblity Cloak in the bathhouse would imply he also saw Robyn naked, which Robyn's cautious nature would clearly consider.
Hide / Show RepliesYeah, your arguments seem good enough to me. Though before you add the trope, remember that it's Robin and not Robyn.
Edited by HvedekornQuick question, since my mind's a bit flaky on this topic. Did Brook ever use the "Skull Joke!" catchphrase after Thriller Bark ended? By this I am referring to the actual catchphrase, not the puns associated with it.
Edited by CRBWildcatHow come Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji all have their own pages, while Chopper, Robin, Franky, and Brook are all just squeezed onto the Straw Hat Pirates main page? Shouldn't they technically all get their own separate pages?
Hide / Show RepliesThey were split because they're sections were getting long while the page couldn't sustain. If the other sections grow, then they could be split, but only when we get warnings that the page is getting long.
I see. What is the limit for how long it can get before splitting it off into its own page? I'm surprised that Chopper, Robin, Franky or Brook haven't met that threshold yet.
When the page starts giving warnings that it’s getting long, that’s a good sign.
They were given a page each because their folders were getting pretty big. I see that the other straw hats pages, minus Jinbe, are pretty long, but then the page would have only Jinbe and the going merry (btw, no folder for the Sunny?)
If Jinbe's folder becomes big enough, I'd say all of the Straw Hats could get their own page, while the ships gets another one
There isn't an impossible dream, there are only people who give upMaybe because everybody else is also waiting for someone to add it. :P
That being said, Merry was more of a character since she was (sort of) alive through the Klabauterman. Sunny is only an inanimate object for now so there's no characterization tropes to add to her.
Feel free to make a folder for the Thousand Sunny if you want, and I'll contribute to her folder too :)

I feel like Jimbei should be changed to Jinbe, since that's what's on his official Wanted poster.
