That seems to have qualities of Breather Level or Bonus Stage, but neither seem to be a 100% fit.
Earn your happy ending?
Neither of those are fitting. It's not a Breather Level or Bonus Stage since it's still part of the original level, it's just the final hurrah before the level ends. And Earn Your Happy Ending has nothing to do with it.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessBreather Boss might be a little closer?
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I think this has potential to be a brand new trope.
I've heard some Let's Play-ers refer to stuff like this as a Victory Lap.
Yeah, A "Victory Lap" is probably the best way to put it.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessThis is a textbook Bonus Stage - as noted several times in the description, they can appear within levels, and in some games always appear at a certain point in the level (like at the end). There's generally some sort of gameplay changeup or minigame involved, few to no enemies, and massive rewards. They tend to be the sort of thing where even if you totally botch it, you won't fail so much as get less bonus stuff.
Edited by Scorpion451^ seconded. Doesn't have to be a clear change from one level to another for it be Bonus Stage. The various Tetris The Grandmaster games roll right into the credits after 999 and you keep playing through the credits, but for TGM 1 the credits don't matter and are strictly a bonus stage.
Edited by NepworksHmm, okay. Good to know. Especially since these portions of the levels often allow you to go back to the start of it and try again if you want to get more coins, which fits with the whole "you won't fail even if you botch it" thing.

Ending a level off on a high-note, such as with a fast-paced journey to the exit where you're basically invincible.
Drawn to Life has a bunch of these; levels tend to end with the player getting to do things like snowboard, surf, zipline, and bounce directly to the exit, with tons of coins and no enemies.
