Can also be or overlap with Just Ignore It in some cases- say, Bob refuses to acknowledge blatant mounting evidence that his home is haunted because the rent is dirt cheap.
Chair slides across room between Bob and his TV
Bob:"Draft."
furniture performs conga line between Bob and his TV
Bob(to the room, with exaggerated conviction): "Really. Strong. Draft."
Bob pointedly avoids any eye contact with the floating skulls as he cranes his neck to see around the credenza

Seems acceptable although I hoped for something in course of Am I Going Insane
Humankind is like a train. No matter how powerful the locomotive is, it can only travel as fast as its slowest car allows it to.
Similar to No More for Me but not caused by any chemical substance. A character sees something bizarre which may or may not be a hallucination and begins to question their own sanity.
- Example: Heavy Metal F.A.K.K.² the heroine Julie catches a glimpse of semi-transparent monster which note notices her and disappears shortly thereafter. Julie then states she must be losing it and maybe should go back to bed.
