Huh. Weird they included the authors name when it was created since there's no conflict with other pages.

Go right ahead.

Since the extra word was the author's name, and there's no conflict with an existing work title, I have no objections to the move.

That just seems really bizarre considering there's no policy or precedent that would lead them to think fanfic titles should include the author's name.

I'd actually be inclined to leave it as-is just to avoid trouble when-slash-if something does come out down the line named Acceleration. Like the ATT about the fanfic named "Reaper", the word's common enough I'm honestly surprised there isn't something already. That may be the same logic used to create the page with the author's name in the first place.

So, to me, taking out the author's name seems like more trouble than it's worth since there's currently no conflict with other titles and keeping it that way ensures there never will be.

With a name that common, I would expect an eventual name collision. A quick search on Amazon shows 2 novels by that name. Reaper, by the way, has 4 books with that exact name and I stopped counting at 10 on Reaper:subtitle entries...

In short, these are moves that will almost certainly be undone in the future making them nothing but pointless busywork.

^ & ^^I already pointed out in the Reaper thread that we have LightNovel.Reaper and Series.Reaper, so those should probably be moved.
