Na, she doesn't try to prevent the fate which is core to the trope. Pre-emptive Declaration seems to fit better.

He...and that does make for a better fit. I think that will cover another example I had in mind, too - thanks!
I'm not sure if this example I have for VanossGaming & Company would fit Self-Fulfilling Prophecy or something else.
- During one Mario Kart 8 race:
