No. Artistic License – Animal Care had its section removed a while back too.

Which makes no sense to me, but whatever.

As Examples Are Not General says, the places for talking about common versions of the trope are the trope description and the analysis page. The examples list is for listing specific instances of the trope in action.

@Paul A What if the folder is PART of the description, and not the example section?

The folder is "below the line" where the examples go. It isn't part of the description. Also, Clear Concise Witty applies to the description, too.

Hey, I ran all the AL RL sections I reviewed through the Maintenance thread, up through Paleontology, when mod Maddie suggested a different way of handling them. No RL examples or sections were removed with either consensus or violating or rules, like examples not being general.

If a folder is part of the description then someone futzed up. Bullet points are iffy enough, but sometimes necessary.

The way I see it, the upside to "common" examples is that way you don't have to constantly explain over and over again why something is an inaccuracy if it pops up over and over again in different works.

It depends on whether the "common examples" are intended to act as a part of the trope's definition, so people don't try to add examples mirroring them, or if they are presented as actual examples of the trope. The latter is not okay. The former... eh. It's the sort of thing that generally goes on an Analysis subpage.

The folder was below the line that separates Description from Examples.

Then they're being listed as examples, and general examples are a nope.
