I remember this happening in an anime once. For a while, I didn't know what it was called, but I found the name recently: Deltora Quest. I think the hero is fighting one of the main bad guys, and he aims for his heart, which is located on the right side of his chest since he's inhuman. The Hero was slightly off, and the bad guy makes a comment similar to, "Oh, I see you were aiming for my heart." Is this it?

Something very like this happens in the Sherlock episode "His Last Vow" when Mary shoots Sherlock.

Something like this happens to John Locke from Lost at one point.

Something like this also happens in Serenity between Mal and the Operative.
