Describe the Trope:

A Knight of Cerebus is a villain who stands out from the others, and their actions darken the story and become responsible for its Cerebus Syndrome. A villain of this trope can sometimes be a Not-So-Harmless Villain, sometimes from sharply recovering from Villain Decay. If Marion was neutral or good, then if the darkening was unexpected, she would most likely be an Unwitting Instigator of Doom.
