Don't give up; the names need to corrected. You probably should have just made the old page a redirect.

That was the plan, but at the time the Main. namespace prevented me from redirecting it. Everything got moved back already too.

Did you send them a message regarding wiki policy? I think you should keep at it and gather mods' attention, the site should be consistent as possible.

Generally, it is a good idea to use edit reasons before moving a page. And to not leave a duplicate page behind. Not sure that I understand what the problem with the Main/ page is.

The original Kiki Kai Kai was never (officially) localized, so changing mentions to Pocky and Rocky may be wrong.

The first Kiki Kai Kai was never localized into English, but the Kiki Kai Kai series has officially been localized as "Pocky and Rocky", with the rights to the name owned by Natsume. All games in the Kiki Kai Kai series released in North America have used the Pocky and Rocky name.

So the question becomes, can we reasonably say that Pocky & Rocky is the English name for the franchise? I'd be willing to say it is.

There are four games in the Pocky & Rocky series and one spiritual successor. Pocky & Rocky originally started as KiKi KaiKai for Japanese arcades in the 1980s. It was never localized officially into English. Then during the Super Famicom/SNES era, the second and third games released in Japan and both were localized in America as Pocky & Rocky and Pocky & Rocky 2.
The last game in the series came on the Game Boy Advance in Japan and later was localized as Pocky & Rocky with Becky. Sales were bad for the GBA version leading to the end of the series and the rise of the spiritual successor, Heavenly Guardian.
There have been other instances were famous franchises never had early installments localized like the most notable example, Mother 1 (which finally had an English localization on Wii U as EarthBound Beginnings ). Unless there isn't enough unique examples for separate KiKi KaiKai and Pocky & Rocky pages, we might need to make Pocky & Rocky the index that points to the various Pocky & Rocky games (and the non-localized original).
Pocky & Rocky is the official English name of the entire series (from the second game onward to the final game on GBA). I hope this information has been helpful, but let me know if I need to clarify anything.
Heavenly Guardian was going to be Kiki Kai Kai World but the developers lost the license so they had to make it original.

A couple days ago I changed all instances of VideoGame.Kiki Kai Kai to VideoGame.Pocky And Rocky since the preferred troping method for stuff like that is 'most recent localization.' I was unable to delete the original page, though, because both pages had a Main namespace that made cutting it impossible, so I decided to wait on that issue.
Now Tropers.Secret Strategist is undoing it and putting Kiki Kai Kai back.
