Intrepid Merchant covers the "person more concerned with business than their own safety" thing.
If they are charging a fortune for everything because they are the Only Shop in Town, it's also Adam Smith Hates Your Guts.

Is there a trope for when a store or other business is open, even thought by all logic, it shouldn't? Like say, if a hurricane, giant monster, Zombie Apocalypse or Alien Invasion is happening, but oddly enough, a gas station and diner is still open, (I'm not sure if tropes like While Rome Burns or Intrepid Merchant fit.)
