In the case of work pages, I always see the name of the work bolded and italicized upon first mention.
Regarding trope articles, I've seen it in some articles, but not in others.

Italisizing is a must for all work titles, that's for certain. Bolding I'm not so sure, but I'd hazard a guess at "no".
Fast Eddie declared it a "no" about a year ago. Search "bold italics" here in ATT to find the query.

Does this wiki having official rule about bolding the article topic the first time it appears on the page, the way Wikipedia does it?
I seem to recall seeing somewhere an official statement that we don't do that here, but I haven't been able to find it again.
