Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
I got one. I PM'd a mod about it.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettMe too. It did make me chuckle, at least.
Got one as well. I was mostly confused by it.
I zapped those private messages. Yeah, never open those executables.

I'm of the fairly certain opinion if someone did make a helpful vid, they'd Youtube it and provide the link, not tell you to download something into your computer.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettMe too. Asshole claimed to be a different troper than the name he sent it from, too.
Got one, too. Predictably these messages are sent to the same list of people as the last batch, so it's probably Spidgewood.
You've got roaming bands of armed, aggressive, tyrannical plumbers coming to your door, saying "Use our service, or else!"I didn't receive such a message, by the way.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanFishy, to say the least. I cut them off.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - Fighteer
Has anyone else received a PM from tvtutor99999 inviting them to download an EXE file that supposedly contains a video tutorial about doing namespaces properly?
Speaking as someone who was taught never to accept EXE files from strangers, this thing's setting off all kinds of alarm bells.
