This is not the first time Fireball246 has had wiki issues relating to their opinions on Super Mario villains.

They added the entry back to both the game and the character sheet citing a speech before the final boss that's about characters' hopes and dreams being shattered, not Literally Shattered Lives.

I think part of the problem is misunderstanding the Final Solution trope, which is more specific than 'kill/destroy everything'.

"Please don't make this difficult" makes it sound like Fireball had dug their heels in and they're not going to let it go.

It doesn't help that they're already edit warring.

Edit warring was the reason for their prior two suspensions too.

In which case, in the event where they are suspended, it would be strike 3 for the same issue.

That said, there are do tend to be differences between the NA and PAL region's dialogue in many games despite sharing a language in some cases. Is Princess Peach: Showtime one of them?

Yeah, having seen the game myself there's definitely an aura of "mass destruction" and even threat of death involved with the situation, but "Final Solution genocide" is a very, very heavy extrapolation, IMO. And the edit warring over it plus the passive-aggressive tone being taken aren't great looks.

Tonight I dine on monkey soup.

The Laconic for Final Solution says that it's "Intentional xenocide/genocide on a species/demographic viewed as "problematic" to fix a perceived issue." Now Tropes are flexible, but at the same time just writing/making a tragic ending to a play doesn't read like the Theeds are 100% being snuffed out because they're in the way of Grape's plans, and this solves the issue of them. It's more like Grape's feeding off the idea of ruining their lives—and metaphorically not snuffing them out.

Either way, this troper stated he'd be less passionate about characters the last time he did this and he wasn't.

Should I re-delete the entries in question?
