We allow Hate Fic, as long as the page for it is written objectively

Creating a fanfic is the fic author's decision. If that's driven by a dislike of characters or plots in the original work, fair enough.

If someone then tropes it then, subject to the usual guidelines, that's fine. If Harry Potter becomes a despicable Hate Sink in the fic, we can cover that in the usual way. But the focus is on the fic, not on the original work, and the author's dislike for the canon version is likely to be mostly trivia.

However, troping your own fanfic on TV Tropes is a different matter - our The Fic May Be Yours, but the Trope Page Is Ours policy covers that in more details.

Given your history, are you referring to Fanfic.Infinity Train Blossomverse and related pages? I only ask because this wouldn't be the first time the fic's contents / the troping of said contents were a source of controversy on ATT.

But yeah, the actions of demonizing a character in the story... it's not a crime.

Yes, if there's a specific page that you're referring to, please be specific.

If there's an issue that needs resolved, it doesn't help to be intentionally vague.

No, I was just asking a question. It's really not much of an issue anyway.
