Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
We can ask ~TNOEnjoyer directly. If Elementa doesn't actually exist it should not be on the main wiki pages.
Edited by Amonimus TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupSo it's some sort of Discord roleplay? In that case it can exist (I think?), but the numerous stubs are still an issue.
Edit: It should also be under the Roleplay/ namespace, not Video Game/
Edited by Azorius24 "The only thing which is certain, is that something will happen".You can't have subpages without the main page either way, so Chronicles Of Elementa work page needs to be made first, with citations where someone can read all the text.
Edited by Amonimus TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI can see they're editing now, but these pages need to go if they don't pass Verifiability. Formatting is unsatisfactory as well, but that's secondary.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupFrom (your own, didn't see that at first) Sandbox.Notability Verifiability Tropability:
- "Works hosted exclusively on chatting platforms like Discord or transmitted via messaging services like email are considered private even if they have free-to-join links."
I know, which is why I've said so. (Also the sandbox was mod-reviewed and is quite old)
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupHaving found the "bruh" Revolutionaries stubs, there is now a degree of vandalism involved.
"The only thing which is certain, is that something will happen".? Not sure how ComicBook.Revolutionaries is relevant.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupOh sorry I wasn't clear, I added to the main post — they created two stubs related to that comic, Characters.Revolutionaries and Revolutionaries.Characters, containing only the word "Bruh."
"The only thing which is certain, is that something will happen".Even the pages that do have content have questionable grammar because every word in a sentence starts with a capital letter. Also, the pictures on these character pages are... baffling. For example, on Characters.Elementan Empire, Emperor Scorcher is Guilmon from Digimon, Crown Prince Ifrit looks like some kind of Sonic the Hedgehog character, while Crown Princess Scorcherina and Prince Blaze are represented by realistic humans. The artstyles are also completely diferent, so all in all, it looks more like some kind of... fan cast? What exactly is our policy for this kind of thing?
I I think the characters are Discord avatars, maybe? But that’s just a guess.
Edited by Azorius24 "The only thing which is certain, is that something will happen".I don't think it's a discord roleplay, they're wrong shapes for discord avatars. The pictures used are likely placeholder portraits for use in the HOI 4 mod they claim to be making.
Edited by AdannorSuspended because I saw that they're still making stubs despite receiving a notifier on the 21st. Go ahead and cutlist any stubs that weren't already cut.
Edited by GastonRabbit Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. What should be done with Elementa Chronicles and its subpages? Cut them too?
"The only thing which is certain, is that something will happen".Given how their appeal in EB admits that it's their own WIP, it can probably be cut.
Edited by ArctimonCharacters.Elementa Chronicles is a subpage with no work page, so it's invalid in the first place.
As mentioned, we likely have to cut all of those pages.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupI have now had a PM conversation with TNO Enjoyer and I think they now understand that they can only create an unpublished work on Darth, or use sandboxes, for what they want to do. But obviously the suspension and the stubs is another matter.
"The only thing which is certain, is that something will happen".
The one-month-old account TNO Enjoyer has been displaying a pattern of bizarre behaviour. I don't have the time to catalogue it all in detail, but it includes and is not limited to:
I know absolutely nothing about Hearts of Iron and its clearly extensive fan-work community, but there are no results for "Elementa Chronicles" on Google whosoever, unless you count misspellings of a Minecraft fanwork series named the Elementia Chronicles. I can't tell if this Troper is a troll or vandal, or simply trying to trope their own unpublished mod, in which case it should be on Darth Wiki. In any case, they've made an awful lot of stubs.
Update: I have sent Characters.Chroniclesof Elementa, Characters.Revolutionaries, Revolutionaries.Characters, and Analysis.TNO Legacy Denmark to the Cut List, the former three for being stubs, the latter for namespace misuse. Edited by Azorius24
