I am not aware of any policy on the matter. However, it seems to me that the most-informative format (that also happens to be common in Recap/ pages of TV shows) is Recap.Series Name S 0 XE 0 Y Episode Name - e.g. Recap.Star Trek Picard S 1 E 06 The Impossible Box or Recap.Ahsoka S 1 E 5 Chapter 5 Shadow Warrior.

The thing is, the question is more about whether to refer to episodes by title or by number, not so much about the Recap/ links.
I'm not aware of any official policy on the matter either, but I personally lean to using episode titles, if available. Maybe I'd refer to episode numbers instead if it's more convenient.
Might this discussion warrant a Wiki Talk thread?

In this particular situation, I feel that numbers would work better than names (especially if there are more long episode titles coming from Bravern), but I don't want to change them if it risks an edit war.
As for a Wiki discussion thread, maybe? I'm not sure.

On Anime and Manga pages specifically, I often see episode numbers more than I do titles, most likely because putting long episode titles would make examples look a little clunky (IMO, though, not for Bravern since episode titles only show up a few times on the page and most are short).
A Wiki Talk thread wouldn't hurt, but for now, I'd PM Ominae and work things out with them for this specific page.

^^ It's also a technical concern, as with a url character limit I know some episode titles have been so long that it's caused problems when you try to link them.
Is there a wiki convention or policy on whether or not you should refer to TV show episodes by their names or by their numbers?
It's just that I'm noticing that on the page for Bang Brave Bang Bravern!, someone's been editing mentions of episode numbers and replacing them with the names of the episodes. I'm don't object to the idea of referring to episodes by their titles, but with Bravern, this means the page refers to episodes with long names like "Isami! You'll Be Here Soon, Won't You, Isami!?"
I'm tempted to edit them back to episode numbers, but I don't want want to kick off an edit war if I can help it, so before I do anything, I'm wondering if there's some sort of wiki policy that leans one way or the other.
