I am going to suspend Lady Belial for edit warring for now but I am also looking into their account against a known ban evader because they seem familiar.

Since Lady Belial shares geolocation, some residential IP overlap, has similar editing patterns/behaviors (hostility/edit warring on Elden Ring pages) to Dem Boyz, and created their account the day Fudget Muppet got banned for ban evading, I bounced them for ban evading.
Feel free to revert their edits when necessary. I'll revert the Characters.Elden Ring page.

Hi. I really wasn't meaning to cause an edit war and didn't think this counted as such. I only removed one entry, and then immediately took it to discussion when it was re-added without continuation, then made a mod report when the discussion looked to be getting weirdly hostile.
The point of contention is that Lady Belial is trying to post fan-made song lyrics for a game track as if they're official. I have pointed out, with sources, that it's very unlikely the song means anything at all (someone with confirmed insider knowledge stated that most of the songs' "lyrics" are just computer-generated syllables that don't form real words). I have also pointed out that, even if there were real lyrics (as of yet totally unconfirmed and looking unlikely), the ones in the linked video would still be fan-made on part of not being officially released. To point out the problems inherent with such a thing, I linked another fan-made lyric video that listened to the same song and got completely different lyrics.
This is a particularly salient point to make as the creator of the video admits that he may not be accurate, that it's hard to make out anything legible over the music, that he doesn't even speak Latin
◊, which is rather important for someone deigning to translate (supposedly) drowned-out Latin.
Lady Belial didn't try to address the points and instead just started cursing at me for some reason. We'd never spoken directly before so I was kind of confused.

^ Lady Belial was the one edit warring as far as I can tell, unless you re-removed what they added or re-added what they'd removed on the YMMV page. I may have been a bit harsh on your edit reason; I get a little nervous when I see people posting long things in the edit reasons because by that point it's a usually already an argument.

Since they're bounced now I suppose I'll just let the points made in discussion stand for a day or so and then delete their edits if nothing else has been brought up. They weren't the only editor to cite said fan videos as if they were official so maybe someone else has a point to make or something to say after the situation has been laid out.

Yeah, I can't see any edit-warring on Snaplock's end. The edit reason was a little long, but justified here IMO.

by Snaplock with a somewhat argumentative edit reason. Lady Belial added it back again
with a threat of mod action against Snaplock and accusations that they are angry about people disagreeing with them.
I haven't been paying attention to the full history of what's going on with the Elden Ring pages aside from seeing arguments about the characters pop up fairly frequently, so I'm not sure if either of these tropers has a history of problems on these pages already, but nonetheless this is an edit war at this point.
Edit: I just noticed that right after they re-added the removed stuff, Lady Belial made an edit on the YMMV page
to remove something Snaplock posted with the reason "Stop inserting your Malenia fan pandering into the discussion. You've been proving wrong, grow the fuck up." so I have also sent them a rudeness notifier. It looks like they're having the same edit war over there though.
