Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
O.O.C. Is Serious Business goes first because OO sorts before OR. Alphabetization of tropes occurs letter by letter.
OOC would come first. You treat something like this as a word when you alphabetize.
You also alphabetize things as if the words are run together. For example, Animals See in Monochrome comes before Animal Talk.
^ I know for a fact that grammatically the second part of this statement is wrong and it's only the TV Tropes algorithm that treats it as such, but I had this argument here on ATT before and I do not wish to repeat it.
^^ Thanks.
Space Battles Dot Com fanworks (unnoficial) index in my Sandbox.Grammar is only an agreement among language-using people anyway; if this website treats it a certain way, it's true here at least.
Trouble Cube continues to be a general-purpose forum for those who desire such a thing.^^ Oh, no question in the "real world" the second example is not correct. TV Tropes treats it differently, however. One just has to get used to it.
^ It hurts my pride and quite possibly puts my life in danger if my mom ever found out.

Which goes first: O.O.C. Is Serious Business or Original Character? Cause OOC is an acronym and I'm not sure how that works.
