Rampage was indeed distributed in the US by the G-Laser, and I'm pretty sure he got the regulars at Dark Maze Studios (ie, the cast of Press Start and Ninja The Mission Force) to do the dubbing.

[up][up]More likely than not episodes won't get released until he has enough that he can get one episode out a week for the entire season with no delay.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.

.....Ed Glaser dubbed Rampage!?

No wonder they said that Mike got a tape of this obscure video that they could get away with adding to the DVD! It would've helped if Doug and Rob had mentioned that in the commentary!

I could've sworn they mentioned something along those lines on the commentary.

It has it's own thread here.

But still, I like that song. And that review won't disuade me from liking it.

Just because it has its own thread doesn't mean it can't be talked about here. Outside of Spoony and Brad, I don't know why any reviewers have their own threads.

Linkara also is deserving of one. He always has a weekly review out with a storyline to talk about as well as lots of spin off projects.

And yet, the site is his primary outlet, whereas Brad and Spoony both had their own successful sites first.

Didn't Atop the Fourth Wall start as Linkara's blog with text recaps?

And I know. I thought we were talking about the current reveiwers that have their own threads.

Here's how the thread of conversation is going. (Paraphrasing)

"Todd and the Shadows did review X"

"There's a thread to talk about Todd in the Shadows"

"Why do all the B-listers have thier own thread? Only Brad and Spoony should have one"

" Linkara has a very regular review schedule, a storyline within his show, and a bunch of side shows. He probably should also have a thread."

"Brad and Spoony are special. They have their own sites and don't depend on TGWTG for survival"

" Linkara also had a site before joining the others."

I'm not saying Brad and Spoony shouldn't have their own thread. I'm saying Linkara should be all criteria.

[up] The difference is that, for Brad (and Spoony, until he left) their personal sites are still the primary medium for their show.

I don't get why there shouldn't be threads for the B-list reviewers in addition to the general thread. If there are enough dedicated people to start and maintain a thread with conversation on it, I don't get why they shouldn't get the thread. I also feel like it's good to foster discussion both on this thread and on the others, so the reviews should be posted both places.

The reason it bother me is because every time anyone tries to talk about someone who has their own thread in here, there's invariably a person who goes "You know, there's a thread for that".

So complain about that, and not them having their own threads. That's something I know I can agree with and get behind. Just because he/she has his/her own thread doesn't mean we shouldn't post a link to a review here or discuss reviews by them here. By the same measure, I feel like we should post reviews by the Snob here, despite it having its own thread.

We should probably post stuff by Lupa too. except we don't. and she does not have her own thread at all.

I was slightly horrified when I realized how much I'd missed, due to forgetting it didn't get updated here and bookmarking a backlog.

Hell, there's so many people who no one posts about in here. I think I'm the only one who ever posts the Rap Critic's videos in here. (But, then, I'm kinda biased toward the music reviewers.)

So, I somehow missed Paw's Really Rosie Music Movies episode.

Pretty much all I knew about Sendak was Where The Wild Things Are. It was kinda weird finding out that the Alligator and Chicken Soup with Rice, two other nostalgic gems from my childhood, were also his masterwork.

I gotta find that video.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies.

I've kinda avoided watching Paw's Music Movies show since a lot of the stuff he's covered are things I'd been meaning to watch. After I watch those movies, then I'll check out the videos, but for now, my choices are limited there.

I really have been hoping for a video covering the Tommy or Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band movies, though. Them's cray-cray.

I really want another Paw/Roses/Todd review once Roses recovers.

Actually, considering the Head set-up, an iRiff would be awesome. I really liked Lindsey and Spoony's Dune iRiff.

to go back to rampage for a second. It was indeed mentioned in the commentary that ed owned the rights to that film in the usa and thats why Doug was able to put it within the dvd originally

" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."

[up][up]That'd be amazing. Hell, even if they could find an old crappy musical that's in the public domain and used a filming setup like in the Head review (that is, if Todd has a setup like that in his new house) to make a traditional MST.
