I'm sure whatever the next topic is will have a lot of stiff competition.

See, on topic.

I once randomly skyped my gay friend in HS dick pics. At first he liked them but then asked me "why?"
I don't think I follow your logic here. "My friend is gay, therefore, he will want dick pics. I will send him some completely unsolicited."

Reading through the last page, I'm not sure anyone on this site knows how Snapchat actually works—hell, I'm guessing none of you have actually used it or read anything about it.

I know the gist of it: Take photo, maybe draw on it, add a caption, send it, it disappears after a short period of the recipient opening it. A quick Google search reveals the existence of the "RECEIVED_IMAGES_SNAPS" directory and 3rd party apps that save snaps.

So I think a girl likes me for real but I'd like to discuss it via PM if that's ok?

Oh yeah, that girl who I was kinda sorta going out with kinda sorta dumped me. She was cool about it, she said that with her mission approaching and with my mission approaching she didn't want to get serious or anything, and I understood. It was like a week ago.

The funny thing is, I wasn't mad about it, or even really sad. At the time, I was panicking to finish two Computer Science projects before the deadline, so the whole thing just registered as "yeah that's nice now I gotta find what's wrong with my AVL tree set." And even now, a week later, I'm just sort of "meh." So either I'm a Vulcan, or I've grown a lot since high school. Just call me Croconaw, y'all. Once I hit 18, it was a whole new ballgame. Awful jokes aside, it's really late and I need sleep if I'm gonna ace these finals. Peace, homeskillets.

Shame. But at least it was amicable, and there's always the option of picking things up again when time and life permit, right?

One part of me is terrified of asking any friend I like out, as in the kind I've known for a few years. Not because of the potential for rejection, but because if we do go out, when we break up, it just won't be the same.

Shit that sounded soppy.

Anyway, it's not like the relationship would really last anyway, I mean I am still a teen.

[up][up][up] and [up][up] Yeah, it gets soppier as it goes on whether you want it or not. I'm sure the terlwyth of last year would be rolling his eyes at what he's become now [lol]

[up] I dunno about that, between my own sister dating the same dude years later (started at 16 now 21), between my own grandparents who were High-School Sweethearts and others just like that. Yeah the odds are slim [didn't work out for me], but it could happen

But actually I'm on good terms with my ex, or at least was, haven't seen her in years thanks to diverging paths of college [she's somewhere in Indiana or Ohio, and I'm in Virginia]

[down] can and will[lol]

Question: In case it ever happens, though I doubt it, what does it feel like when you like someone? (i.e. crush)

[up] The huge percentage of all works of art are either inspired by or about love/liking someone. No one can really tell you in words what its like, you have to find it out on your own, through personal experience, or self-realization. Since you seem to think that its unlikely you will never feel (which is a terrible thing to say bro, trust me, like it or not you will. Multiple times in your life) love, I recommend you look up some paintings, poetry or literature. Something allong those lines. Eventually a piece will just make it all "click".

[up][up]Both very good and uncomfortable, probably some blushing. Beyond that there's lots of feelings you could have. The only way to know for sure is if you get obsessed and find yourself smiling over said crush even for seemingly no reason.

[up] I know this is a easy way to start a big flame war so I will tread lightly and not say much. I think that being Anromantic is possible, but I believe that the number of people who find themselves to be Anromantic in orientation is much higher than the actual amount. I think that for a number of reasons, people can attach themselves to that orientation, such as bad past relationships, autism, not finding the "right person".

I mean this in the nicest way possible Soup but I highly doubt that you are Anromantic . Your 17, your body doesn't have a clue what is going on, why do you think so many people come out as homosexual in their mid-late twenties? Its because only then do their hormones calm down and settle, and they have had time to experiment, figure stuff out.

I have no authority over you, I mean only you know whats happening in your head. Only you know how you feel, all we can do is judge from the outside. You very well could be Anromantic and if you are, I want you to find me out and show me this post and laugh at me for proving me wrong and I will completely accept it. I just want you to hold back before committing to your orientation at 17, especially one that is a lack of attraction to anyone at all.
