Skies is now an hour behind me, but since he actually lives in Arizona during the school year, he's 2-3 hours behind.

And true, it makes it hard for us to see each other sometimes, but we've still managed to talk to each other everyday for at least a little bit. And that's alright with me. ^_^

And thank you! Hoping it goes alright. I still remember when I first saw her on that ship (and my friend pointed out that she was wearing the same kind of hipsterish hat that I had taken to wearing in the year prior...and eventually stopped wearing because I realized how much of a douche I looked with it◊), I was smitten, and I tried so hard to find her again so much of the time. We only ever actually got to talk in person once, when we happened to run into each other (oh, serendipity!)...and then played cards together. Yeah Still, we talked a bunch, and we exchanged emails (since, well, different countries doesn't exactly make phones an affordable option). And as far as distance goes, I could do a lot worse than Ontario, I suppose. At the very least, I've been to the province before

Did I mention how adorable she is? Because she is the absolute cutest girl I've ever seen. And she's a redhead, which is certainly a plus in my books Oh, and she plays the bass!! Pretty much the only other time I could ever conceive meeting another girl who's a bassist is if I ever happened to meet Kim Deal, and I sincerely doubt the chances of that ever happening to me.

Hmm. So far, its been about 28 hours without Hibiscus. I'm coping better than I thought, but not as great as I would like. One of my friends said "if you can't cope, force yourself to". And I guess I am. Its not the easiest thing in the world, but I suppose the pain of missing her deeply is a lot better than the pain of never having had her at all.
