Harrison Ford and aliens? [lol]

James Bond is a little distracting.

This can either be really good or really awful. Or both.

Still wondering on this one.

I approve the use of combining both cowboys and aliens. I also approve of using Sam Rockwell more. Also, this looks entertaining on the few bits of seeing Harrison Ford.

Cowboys... and aliens? Not, say, cowboys or aliens? Both of them? Together? At once? At each other's throats in the same film?

I. Am. So. There.

Please please please tell me it won't be as serious as the trailer makes it look.

See, I love mashups like this. I love Genre-Busting. Something about this is not sounding right.

I can't be the only one who thought of illegal border crossings. By the way, Daniel Craig is not Bond.

Besides, Predator did this already.

Is it weird that the opening of the trailer reminded me of Fallout 3/new vegas?

I mean, a guy with a PIP boy in a wasteland who kills everyone and then takes their clothes.

[up] Therein lies a tale.

The screenwriters first submitted their story as an original screenplay, but the studio wouldn't take it because it wasn't based on anything, i.e. no brand recognition.

So they turned it into a comic, first. grin

Maybe I'm being stupid, but based on the trailer alone I don't see how this could possibly fail. You've got cowboys and you've got aliens, you're getting exactly what you pay for. It's like Piranha 3d, with something this stupidly brilliant, it's really either going to end up being So Bad, It's Good or So Cool Its Awesome.

I will only see this film in 3D.

It's like if someone decided to take the last 30 minutes of Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull and make a movie out of it. Only good.
