And Chisame would likely be using a standard Android, instead of custom-building one for her tablet. Mainly so she could have an income stream from making apps for tablets and phones.

Heck, you can even argue that Chisame would still have a laptop, because you can do more with one than you can with a tablet. I have a laptop and a tablet here in the truck with me, and I use the laptop LOTS more.

While i have no idea what you're talking about, as I understand the procedure, it's not so much as a timelapse thing as something you actually need to apply for. Not that I'd know anything about that.

If it matters, trying to get back to work on 'Overlords and Overkill' as a recent surge in inspiration is making me revisit my backlog, so we'll see how that goes.

Okay parody contemplation time! What would Negima be like if it were a show on the CW?

• Negima would be aged up, most likely played by K.J. Apa.
• Shizuna-sensei would lose several cupsizes, and be played by a redhead.
• Konoka and Setsuna would be played by black actresses, FOR DIVERSITY!
• Konoemon would be younger and hipper Bald Black Leader Guy played by James Earl Jones.
• Ayaka will be reimagined as a fast-talking Latina.
• To keep up with the times, instead of being based on robotics, Chachamaru would be a genetically engineered clone, because robot uprisings aren't scary anymore, genetic engineering is!
• Because of the SFX budget won't stretch very far, some iconic items will have to be reimagined as well! Negi, instead of a gnarled wooden staff, will use a hockeystick to cast spells!
• Chamo will be played as a shapehifting Misha Collins, and will be a wereermine instead of an ermine fairy so as not to upset conservatives and to make him easier to understand!
• The Flash would show up once a season.

I am certain that robot-model Chachamaru would be considered every bit as scary now as she was back in the day.

But if we go along with your conceit, what replaces the obvious robot thingies, a prominent bar code tattoo? And who is she the clone of, anywho?

Obviously, she's a clone that's half Negi, half Lex Luthor! Because reasons. It's the CW, science is far, FAR from their strong suit.

Oh, and she's no longer a Martian. She'd proclaim herself to be the next stage of human/synthetic robotics symbiosis because it's reminiscent of the Borg Assimilation.

EDIT: OK, figured out the deal behind IANCE's suspension. I'm surprised such an incident didn't happen sooner, given his self-admitted unabashed jerkassness. Not that I am happy about it, just not that all surprised.

Still can't find anything about OM's own supposed suspension, though. I do notice that his avatar is blank, though; is the image broken?

Well, not real recently. And that might be half the problem. No one really noticed for a while.

But yes, banned and not eager to reapply. Can't say I blame them either.

As for the CW...

The League of Legends helps to rescue Negi and company during the Bad Future timeline. And still manage to screw things up, because League of Legends.

Supergirl helps beat down Sakuna during the Kyoto Arc, because that would at least make sense.

Lots of Drama everywhere, because Drama is really the only thing the CW is good at.
