- After kicking Decade's ass in the last War (no matter what the photographer said), Captain Marvelous and the crew of the Gokai Galleon seek out yet another new treasure. Unfortunately, California doesn't have many of those... just teenagers... with attitude...
95% less Fourze killing, I promise!
I am... hrm... I sort of hesitate to say "cautiously optimistic", but I would at least read a chapter or two before giving a more definitive opinion.
That...doesn't make me care any more than I already didn't, honestly. And even if I read it I doubt I would.

Nous restons ici.Ah, well your loss...
There Can Be Only One premises just have an easier time catching my interest, ever since I grew up on the Trope Namer.
There should have been only one...
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariWhere's the plot-conflict in that?
Has there ever been a There Can Be Only One where it's one all the time, in the sense of 'several personalities fighting for control within a single person'? I know there have been several stories with that kind of premise, but God help me, I can't remember which right now.
I know of at least two horror movies with that premise. Can't remember their names right now.
Huh, maybe that can be a thing. The demon thing traumatized Negi more than he thought, and now he has 31 other personalities in his head...

All of them making him cross-dress. Anya doesn't complain, since she gets to be around 31 girls with even flatter chests than hers.
So in D&D, the strongest demon lord is known as Demogorgon◊, the Prince of Demons, one of the most powerful beings of the setting. What very few people know is that his two heads have very different personalities that hate each other with a passion. So in every sense, Demogorgon is two people in one body, and his own worst enemy: both heads want full control of the body, but they know that if one of them die, the other will surely follow, so they have no choice but grudgingly cooperate and scheme against each other indirectly.
The entire basis of the Savage Tide campaign is that one of the heads set in motion a huge plan a few thousand years ago, the end result of which would result in said head absorbing the other, thus giving him full dominance. Said plan involves driving millions of people mad with dozens of Artifacts of Doom to harness their collective insanity into energy for this ritual.
Suffice to say, it's pretty neat.
Remind me, is that the one in which you have the chance to kill him?
Madman with a box? I'm a madman with a semi, a pretzel bender and a Heart of Gold!Yep. The measures you have to take to do so are pretty epic in scale, though. It's one hell of an adventure.
Meanwhile in Berserk, the Churder (Tudor?) battle was pretty cool, but Guts vs. 100 men and Sir Hams-alot overshadowed it by far. Boscogn is Scary Black Man epitomized (His glare to the ham-whale is nightmarish), but I was half surprised to see Gennon make a return. I'll hand it to Griffith, he sure can exploit the hell out of his opponents when convenient. Guts meanwhile acquires a pimpin hat (he actually doesn't look half bad in it), and Griffth continues to be terrifying. Dude just had to go watch his enemies burn in a house fire, didn't he? And that's not even accounting for everything that happened after said house burning. I know nobility is all cloak and dagger, but who pissed in your cheerios Griffith?
Oh, and the ball was cute too. Everyone looked surprisingly good in formal attire, and Charlotte's little wave to the WHITE PHOENIX GENERAL (Hard not to think of Fire lord Ozai here) was precious, and Guts and Cascas little talk out on the balcony was also quite nice. I'm liking the series so far.

I already got two P Ms asking me about the new avatar, boludo. I never suspected the series had this much recognition, boludo.
Es una serie re popular, viteh.
Aunque a mi me sale mejor la voz de Carlitox (pero no la risa).
Goes to show you how something amazingly stupid (to the point that one honestly wonders how it even became a series) can be so bloody hilarious and popular.

himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimariI think I already have an idea for a fanfic oneshot of Alejo y Valentina Do Anime. So far, I've laid out the Seilor Mun and Oh Mai Godes segments.

I'm kinda sad that it doesn't get international recognition like it should.
By the by, you should totally do one with Negima. El Viejo begs to be in Konoemon's role.
himitsu keisatsu seifu chokuzoku kokka hoanbu na no da himitsu keisatsu yami ni magireru supai katsudou torishimari@Skorm:@Berserk: I forget if I asked this before. You doing the manga, or the anime?
Manga. Never touched the anime, but I intend to.
Don't. You're better off for it.
You definitely should.
Myself, I actually kind of had to cut my teeth on the anime before I could stomach the more intense gorn in the manga. But then, I also had Evangelion and a fair chunk of Claymore under my belt before I got to that point as well....
Also, I don't remember. I know this is the Negima fanfic thread, but is it chill to discuss and rec Love Hina fic here as well?
Huh? The Berserk anime is awesome. At least, the series is, and is certainly a good way for one to get introduced to the franchise as a whole, especially for squeamish people to build up some tolerance to the Bloodier and Gorier manga. I can't comment on the second and third anime movies yet, but the first was cool enough. Still prefer the series to it, though.

You're asking about being on-topic after a couple posts talking about Berserk?

I don't see why not given that UQ Holder makes its way here every now and again.
Yeah... the summary here on T Vtropes is useless. Basically, an elegant princess, her immortal buttmonkey sidekick, a werewolf, a vampire, and a robot maid versus every monster Universal Studios ever made. That includes mummies, vampires, triffids, etc, all in the guise of a There Can Only Be One battle for the throne of the monster world..
Yeah, that sounds equally useless...
Oh well. Eva-Unit, working on a new fic idea. What do you think of this summary?
95% less Fourze killing, I promise!
