The Pack seem to want to control the Evos for some vague evil purpose.
Edit: And You should

All of time and space, anywhere and everywhere, any star that ever was. Where do you want to start?Looks like Cartoon Network pretty much said "We want another Ben 10", meaning that series will probably be coming to an end. It looks like a good enough show, even though I've always favored the Billy and Mandy, KND, Chowder, Flapjack, etc. flavor of shows they've done. His power seems a little...broken, though. I mean, from the trailers, it looks like he can generate pretty much any weapon from his body, with no power recharging at all. It'd be pretty easy to defeat near all characters in fiction with a power like that, not to mention he wouldn't have to pay for appliances.
Also woah those monsters are creepy.

WOOOOOOKeep in mind he's fighting a guy who's been said to be pretty much a god in his own realm, so I wouldn't consider Rex broken. Anyway, it looks interesting, the monster designs look nice. I just hope it doesn't end up like Ben 10 with bad plots and characters.

Plus, the show hasn't even aired yet, he can pretty much make anything, but there's probably some weakness involved, he may create anything, but he'll probably have weaknesses, we don't know that much, but there are likely to be a few...
To reiterate, doesn't the villain look like Kevin?
Yes
All of time and space, anywhere and everywhere, any star that ever was. Where do you want to start?Just saying that it'll be kind of hard to write weaknesses for someone like that. Idk, maybe he'll short out under conatct with water or something. Anyway, if you're talking about the person who appears to be strangling Rex in the commercials, then, yeah, he does kind of look like a gaunter, older Kevin, with long hair.
WOOOOOOHe's a person with Nanomachines inside him, EMPs are a probable weakness, but then again, I don't know too much about Nanomachines, so that might be out of the question, but I think that they might have thought out weaknesses for him, just as they've thought of weaknesses for Ben's forms, but then again, it's not exactly hard to make someone with 10 forms and list off weaknesses.
And there appears to be a limit on how much he can create. The Slam Cannon, for instance, doesn't appear to have its own ammo, but rather creates ammo by trash-compacting debris from his surroundings.
I have a message from another time...Or, there's simply the fact that what he fights is just that strong.
To be honest, I hate arbitrary Kryptonite weaknesses. I rather the fights more come down to who can kick the most ass than which has his finger on the "disable nanites" button.
"If you're out here why do I miss you so much?"Y'know, althought the previews all look promising, I can't get my hopes up for this series. Like I said in another board, Man of Action haven't exactly done a lot to make me confident in their work—Ben 10 never really stopped being So Okay, It's Average, even after five years. Plus, a lot of elements—M.I.B. with swords! Gun-toting fez-wearing talking monkey!—just scream "trying too hard". Still, I'm giving it a shot.

Avatar art by Lorna-Ka.About Rex's weakness we shouldn't worry, after all the only worse than an unstoppable Hero is an insanely weak one.
All of time and space, anywhere and everywhere, any star that ever was. Where do you want to start? And I'm gonna say that Rex's own morality will be a liiting factor for him. If Evos are originally human, how will he act if he's up against one that's too dangerous for him to complete the curing process? Will he be able to kill it? Of course, I'm just going off one line from the commercials, but...
I have a message from another time...Bobo Haha is the only reason why I'll have a look at it
http://s1.zetaboards.com/Conceptual_Evolution/ http://sagan4.com/forum/index.phpIt's too bad the show is missing Ms. Fanservice as seen in the original comic book.
^ Jibbidy-wha?
Comic book?
Where?
Yeah, Generator Rex is based on a short lived Image comic book that was published back in 1999 called M.Rex or Machina Rex.
Here's an article about Man of Action talking about M.Rex and how Generator Rex is based on it. It shows what the comic book looked like or rather one of the covers.
Some things I do find interesting are that Agent Six doesn't have a cig in his mouth in show like he does in the comic and the alligator with built in lights.

Am I the only one who thinks the main character totally seems like a kid-friendly Travis Touchdown? Down to the outfit, even!
"Proto-Indo-European makes the damnedest words related. It's great. It's the Kevin Bacon of etymology." ~MadrugadaI never noticed before...but he does.
I'm a huge geek, and even I hate how it looks.
It just looks like another CN cash cow
YOU! OBEY THE FIST!^ At any rate it'll be better than CN Real.
Oh god, I almost vomited just typing the name of that abomination.

@Zam: Yeah, I'd have to agree. A really strong hero can at least look awesome doing his job. But a weak hero who crumples every time the villain pushes his magic weakness button (usually by throwing them into a wall) just isn't all that compelling.
"If you're out here why do I miss you so much?"^^ ANYTHING'S beter that CN "real" ( yeah. Real shitty)
YOU! OBEY THE FIST!Looking at one of their previews, it seems it isn't terribly hard to just smash Rex's machines apart, so it's not like he's invincible.
I have a message from another time...Thanks Gunheart for agreeing with me and dudes should stop being negative about the show.
All of time and space, anywhere and everywhere, any star that ever was. Where do you want to start?
Oh ya I saw a commercial for it yesterday. It looked kinda stupid to me. I've never seen Ben 10 so I have no exceptions for this new show.
But I'll give it a chance.
