A Game of Gods: A Multiversal Challenge

"What the fuck?!" The Longsword's pilot yelled. He fully expected Skywarp to tear his interceptor's wing off or throw him to the ground, but the Decepticon simply shoved him. The Longsword spun through the air a few times before the pilot managed to fully regain control of it.

The squadron started to fly their interceptors back toward Skywarp. "I got tone!" "Blast him out of the sky!"

The torrent of missiles flew out of the Longswords, heading straight for the Decepticon...

"Fox 2!"

The marines were knocked down by the sonic boom, while Jorge struggled to stay upright. All sound cut out, and his ears rang for a few seconds before the sound returned. The Spartan turned to see Gordon on the ground, injured.

"Dr. Freeman! Dammit," Jorge swore.

The marines got back up and continued firing. One of them rushed out to pull Gordon back.

"I got him, sir! Hey, don't worry, pal, we've got biofoam right here for ya!"

Things were getting out of hand. Jorge stepped out of cover rushing to Saren's pillar. "Saren!" He leaped to tackle the Spectre. Saren would see that the Spartan could jump quite high.

Jagged Alliance 2 LP (Redux) (Closed!)

Chuckling again, Skywarp disappeared once more...only to reappear a few moments later behind a different Longsword. The black-and-purple Seeker grinned as he brought up one of his arm-rifles and fired into the fighter's cockpit.

"Now, this is more like it! Let the nerds like Thundercracker worry about strategy, we'll do this my way—without thinking!"

Starscream would have grimmaced if he had been in robot mode. Instead, the Air Commander began to perform a series of high-G manoevres in an attempt to shake off the puny fleshling.

"Silence, you fool!"

"Hey, Starscream, are you calling us fools or these humans fools? 'Cause I get the feeling that you don't respect me!"

"Silence! ...You fool."

"See? Now, that's what I'm talking about! Which is it?"

-Abruptly, Jorge is frozen in midair; an invisible force punches through his visor, shattering it; the Spartan is then slammed back down.-

Narumi shoots his way past the Turians, then he found Ravage. "What is going on? Why is everyone fighting?" Narumi asked Ravage.

-Eddie leaps off of Starscream, his wings unfolding as he falls allowing him to swoop towards Saren, landing in front of him-

"Now normally I would ask you to stop all this f*cking around, but you don't really strike me as the negotiating type, so, out of personal respect... I'll just get straight to the *ss-kicking."

-he switches into full demon-mode and punches Saren with earth-shatering force-

Ravage, at this point, has had enough.

"Be silent, human! So you want to play cheap, Arterius. Very well, then—I'll give you cheap!"

The massive figure—revealed to be the towering form of Scorponok◊—reached out as a golden light appeared within its hand. A small, golden object, bearing a slight resemblance to a television remote, materialized within the Headmaster's grasp, and Scorponok smiled faintly as he turned the device in the direction of the turians.

Hold that pose, organics...

Then a beam of golden light erupted from the device, and the turians screamed in absolute agony as its energies bathed them, altering them, converting living organic tissue into rigid, inflexible and utterly lifeless technomatter in a horrifically painful process. Within seconds, every single one of the turian soldiers bar Saren had been reduced to a dead statue, trapped forever in poses and expressions of abject fear and terror.

If the pilot didn't have a visor on his helmet, Skywarp would have seen his eyes widen in terror.

"Oh shi-"

The pilot was splattered when the Decepticon fired. His Longsword immediately plunged down to the ground.

"He splashed Vandal!"

"Viper, Rainbow, break right."

"Roger, breaking right."

'Viper deliberately flew into Skywarp's view, heading to the right. His intention was to get the Transformer to chase him. 'Rainbow' hung back, waiting for Skywarp to take the bait. It was a very risky maneuver, but if Skywarp fell for it, it would leave him wide open to an attack from the rear.

"ARGH!"

Jorge was sent flying back. He crashed through a table and rolled several times before coming to a stop. The Spartan's visor was wrecked, so he had no choice but to remove his helmet, showing his worn, bearded face. Jorge pulled out a few shards of glass stuck in it. He was lucky that none of those shards hit an eye.

He slowly stood up, looking downright furious now...until Ravage turned all of the remaining turians into technomatter. Then he looked horrified, as did the marines.

-Eddie's fist connects... And the statue flies apart; the air ripples at the base of the pillar, and the genuine article steps forth, shooting the roadie's wings almost absent-mindedly over his shoulder-

When a trap is obviously a trap, you don't go into it.

-The battlefield returns to being just pillars and tile; the Turian gives a "bring it on" gesture-

The marines raised their weapons to fire, but Jorge held a hand up, and they stood down.

"Alright. You got us. Now let's see what you can really do."

Jorge sprinted at the turian, aiming to smash him with an armored fist.

-Eddie draws his axe and smashes it into the ground, sending a massive shockwave in Saren's direction-

-Saren's mechanical hand blocks the punch, servos whining as it is pushed back by the impact, before shoving back; the Turian connects his feet talons to a nearby pillar to avoid the shockwave, before boosting off, aiming to knock the Spartan off his feet; Saren is wearing his species' version of an impressed smirk-

I thought the so-called Spartans were trained mainly for ranged combat. This preference of yours for close quarters. You're a pointman.

Gordon pointed the overcharged Gravity Gun at Saren. He wasn't sure how long the state it was currently in would last.

Little bursts of energy crackled out of the manipulator as Gordon attempted to use the overcharged Gravity Gun to yank Saren off his feet.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."

Jorge jumped back to avoid the shockwave. "I was trained to be the ultimate soldier. I can fulfill any role," Jorge growled.

When Saren charged at him, Jorge had a surprise in store. He crouched down, slamming his fist down onto the floor. His shields flared brighter than they usually did.◊ Saren would hit the Spartan, only to find that he was seemingly invulnerable and immovable. That wasn't all, either; his shields grew brighter and brighter, until his armor fired off a very strong (but short) shockwave.

Unit Mecha Sonic. Disable the Spartan. I have an overgrown ape to handle.

-Saren flares his mandibles wide, then bites down, hard, on Eddie's wrist; simultaneously, he presses the pistol's muzzle against the roadie's chest, specifically over the left lung, then fires; the mechanical arm withdraws the scimitar, which begins to buzz and vibrate-

-charges towards Jorge-

Craft had taken cover in the intervening period.

Concentrating once more, the Variants' ranks swelled...

Though most of them were Variant Fires◊, there were also Variant Missiles.◊

A cluster of light blue machines resembling humans in shape hovered above, the massive single optic where their faces should have been glowing a relentless◊ red. They appeared to fly using jetpacks of some sort.

"Take them down!" Craft yelled, pointing at the Decepticons in the air.

With that, the Variant Missiles adjusted the missile pods on their backs and fired. Though the missiles were at first just single units, they suddenly split up into one main missile and multiple minature missiles. Though they did not track their targets, the sheer number of projectiles soaring through the air would make it extremely difficult to dodge.

The Pantheon Flyers jetted up into the air, flying after the Decepticons, while the Variant Fires simply laid down torrents of fire upon any hostile forces.

Locking you up on radar since '09

Metal Sonic would find a very, very large piece of rubble soaring through the air to collide with him.

Gordon, do put is lightly, wasn't too pleased at the moment. When you had a Gravity Gun that could lift people and electrocute them, you had plenty of ways to take your anger out. Despite the cracked lense of his glasses, he wasn't having much difficulty aiming.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."

-Eddie roars in pain and releases Saren's Neck-

"Your gun... isn't gonna kill me."

-He leaps backwards, draws his guitar and begins to play. Tha air around him starts to glow, and a massive barrage of fireballs is launched directly at Saren-

-The fire downs the fragment shield, then half of the first; Saren's skin sizzles-

With your abilities, I would have expected only short-ranged attacks. You're proving to be versatile as well.

-Saren throws a biotic punch at the roadie-

"You'll find I'm full of surprises."

-He ducks the punch and swings a kick at Saren's legs-

-the debris crumbles against MS' resilient armor, blowing the mechanoid back in the process-

The Spartan finally ended his armor lock, sending out a short EMP shockwave as he rose out of it. If MS hit Jorge, he would've been damaged by the impact, and if he was too close to him, the EMP would've messed him up real good.

Seeing how Eddie was handling Saren, Jorge decided to focus on his newest attacker. He drew his combat knife and got into a defensive stance, waiting for the robot to make his move.
