A Game of Gods: A Multiversal Challenge

(What's going on out there...)

-Fran left her lab (which she had not left for the last two challenges) and approached the TV-

Strange...

-she reached out to touch the screen, and fell through-

Uah!

-she landed roughly next to the others-

Ow... I think my arm's coming off.

"Um...you okay there, Miss Fran?"

I'll be fine. Where are we now?

"Miss Fran?" Blink turned and blinked a few times. "You arm came off? Where did it go?"

Gordon cocked his shotgun as he looked around. Ravage had vanished. Great. Why did he have a feeling that this had something to do with the challenge?

-Fran smiled-

Don't worry, I have plenty more...

-she turned and quickly sewed it back on-

Good as new! So, what are we supposed to do now?

Rey studied the outlines on the ground. "A very bad place, Miss Fran. We should all stick close together...it's gonna be really easy to get seperated in this fog. Possibly even make physical contact with each other. If we lose track, we'll never get it back again."

Jack nodded.

"An excellent point. I concur. But we should move quickly, regardless." He looked around. The terrain all looked the same to him. "Ah...which way should we go?"

"An excellent question," Dis Baba mused, staring into the fog. "Perhaps we could devise some means of marking a trail, so that if we get lost we can find our way back to this point?"

While this discussion was going on, Vezon decided to practice stepping out of the fog while chuckling sinisterly with his cape held up in front of his face like a Dracula.

Spriggan ignored Vezon's antics, observing the fog.

Hope had missed out on the start of the challenge, and instead stuck his head around the simulator door to see what was going on.

Hope would see crowds of civilians crowded into Ten Forward.
A Space battle filled with Dalek Saucers, Borg Cubes, Imperial Star Destroyers, two other Enterprises and many other ships raged outside the window.

"Say, why don't we split up and look for clues? Cover more ground that way."

Rey flipped up the visor of his helmet, looking at Vezon incredulously. "Have you ever watched television, ever?" He sighed. "Unfortunately, he might have a point. If there are monsters here, it'd be harder for them to wipe us all out if there's space between us...and even if one group does get killed, the others can keep going."

"But if one of us did locate the exit, how would we inform the other groups?"

Raz's hand shot up. "I could set up a telepathic network between us. Sort of like a radio, but without having to talk."

"That could work, Raz. And as a backup to that, if we can't rely on vision, we'll have to rely on our other senses. Noise is probably going to be our best bet. ...do you guys all know how to play Marco Polo?"

"Yeah, my sense of hearing is better than normal human's." Natsu said, hearing Rey.

"Hm. I do not like this idea. Nonetheless, if it is what everyone wants, we should stay within shouting distance if this link does not work."

"Naoto, is there anything else that we need to keep an eye on?"

Spriggan asked the detective, seeing that he's familiar with the place.

"I don't like it either, Jack, but it might be our best bet. There's no telling how much time we have before the fog lifts."

Prior the discussion: "Well, seeing as televisions dont't exist on my world, no."

After the discussion: "I'm so glad we could all agree with me and how right I am."

" I can't see a damn thing..." Narumi said, searching through the fog. He then bumps into Rey. " Who's there?" Narumi asked.

"Chill out, Narumi, it's just me."

Dis Baba cocked his head inquisitively to one side, making an odd throat-click noise as he did so. "Forgive my intrusion, but what is this...mark-o pole-o you speak of?"
