With that, the entire room turned transparent, revealing where they were. Hahli blinked- back home, the sun was not nearly so bright, or so blindingly huge in the sky. The sun, this one red and bloated, hung perilously close to the world that this entire complex was based on. The planet had no sky, no clouds, merely infinite blackness, something that set Hahli, who had never before set foot on another world, to shuddering. The ground itself was red and rocky, with no life anywhere. But the most prominent feature of this world was the massive obelisks, inscirbed with lines similar to that of the two figures themselves, that were evenly spaced out from one another. Each one periodically glowed and released a burst of energy to its neighbours, which in turn did the same thing to theirs, creating a long network of pulsings- for what purpose, though, the Toa could not fathom. Below the obelisks were large, flat crystals and prissms, each one vibrating.
" You are all excellent Challengers", said Omega's voice, and I wish you all the best."
With that, the room once more returned to opaqueity.

Formerly known as Crow T. Robot.Space pirates? Ridley!?

Ashe? Really? Sad Little Try-hard.Don't overreact to anything you see here. I'm not in the mood for a further skirmishing today, nor for excitable newcomers. Far too many things went wrong...

Craft remained immobile throughout the sequence.
"They are like Cyber-elves... able to bend reality to their will."
Just a quick post.
Locking you up on radar since '09Gordon wasn't exactly surpised. He'd seen plenty of alien weirdness on Xen, not to mention the freakish visions the man in the suit had shown him.
"We're pretty much stuck here until they decide that we've done enough challenges, or something. Since I've been here, we've had to correct Romeo And Juliet, help a Dolphin, help Jack Skellington and freaking Santa Claus, and go to Cybertron. Who knows what the hell we'll do next," he said.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."-PHANTOM shifts again, forming the gigantic white and blue visage of Saren; the voice is resonant, but not booming-
—Roster completed, sir. Including the armoured woman. Would you like me to display the past mission summaries? —

Isaac looked out at the dark cityscape. It was like a darker version of how the Contigoians had described Anemos...he turned to the small pink creature.
Hm? I apologize, but I can not recall any such thing.
Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!Ravage nodded at the display. It was impressive, he had to admit, but the jaguar had seen plenty of dead worlds in his time.
No, far more interesting were those strange constructs, the pulsating obelisks and vibrating crystals. They obviously corresponded to their captors in some way, but what purpose did they serve?
The Danse Macabre Codex-Saren makes an affirmative gesture to the machine, studying the landscape-
The power requirement must be immense. At least we know that it's partly physical in nature.
"Here I thought we were in some sort of metaphysical location between dimensions. Huh," Gordon remarked.
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."-Saren looks over at Gordon-
Doctor Freeman, what disciplines are you trained in?
Narumi during the service on Cybertron went for a real long nap as his Spark went out.
He saw a flash of red light, just enough to spot a Φ somewhere.
Narumi then woke up on his bed. "Did... Did I just die?" Narumi asked. He got up and joined the others. "Oh... Fresh meat..." Narumi said, noting the new comers.
"I have a Ph.D in theoretical physics," Gordon said. "Although that probably means absoloutly nothing to you."
"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up."-Saren appears interested-
That is for me to decide. I wanted to consult you on the nature of these portals.
-Data walls and diagrams click into existence on PHANTOM-
"I would have expected nothing less, Mr. Freeman." said Craft.
Locking you up on radar since '09"Saren? Your alive?" Narumi asked Saren, his tone of voice changing to sound like he saw a ghost.
Gordon scanned the various holograms for a few moments.
"Hmmm... at a glance, it resembles one of the experiments I was involved in. It seems to use a similiar principle to Einstien-Podolsky-Rosen entanglement, but without effecting an anomalous material in order to produce a stable teleport. It also averts tunneling through dimensions and utilizing Xen as a sort of "slingshot". I'd have to take a closer look at some of the components of this variant of teleport's production, along with a copy of this data," Gordon said, stroking his beard as he examined the holograhic diagrams.

"Oh, dear. The toad, the monkey, and the dog have all screwed up.""You think to exploit their portals?" Ravage mused, intrigued.
The Danse Macabre CodexAh, Detective. As you can see, this is so. Management wanted to keep their toy alive.
-Saren glances at Ravage, a couple fangs visible-
I already have, partly. That's how I spoke to you on Cybertron a few minutes ago.

"...Things have come to freely pass, then." Narumi said, responding to Saren.
Rey had observed all the chaos in relative silence, rubbing his head once in a while but otherwise not saying anything. Finally, he turned away slightly, shaking his head.
"I think I'm going to start screaming and may not stop for some time..."
Easing back into life one step at a timeRavage ignored the turian's snide comment, examing the graphs alongside Gordon. "Interesting...though the properties you just listed would indicate otherwise, these read-outs do bear some similarity to a stabilized form of transwarp energy. The sheer power needed to open such a portal and stabilize it must be staggering; perhaps that's part of their reason for those obelisks we saw a moment ago."
