Do we believe/know/hoe that Giovanni is dead? From what I recall, he merely exited from the cave and PC (you) then heard the static of the radio as the TR transmission was taken out or something. And seeing any random kid with a Pokémon can jump down those leaps, I don't see why would Giovanni die from it.

As for N (Harmonia?), I'm not sure if "cohesion" is the word you're looking for.

Max and Archie tried to Melt/flood large portions of Hoenn, Cyrus tried to destroy the universe and Ghetis messed with forces that were known to have wiped out an entire Pre Cursor civilization.

Team Rocket did not have anything to do with Mewtwo in the games. Only in the Manga and Anime.

The Anime and the Manga are perfectly eligible for sources of information. As is the TCG, the Console Games, and other Pokemon Canons. We're not exclusive to the Games.

I was actually talking more about that morphing Eevee in the Pokemon Special manga. I've made it a point to use as little information from the anime as possible.

Should N even be on there? Yes, he's part of Team Plasma, but I don't remember him doing anything strictly illegal. Just being associated with a criminal organization isn't enough to get you convicted in a fair court.

Hmm. But Looker went off to search for him. That's what made me suspect that, though he'd most likely be found innocent in a court, he's still wanted by law enforcement.

The last section about Chief Sherles... I don't know why I wrote that. I guess I was wondering where this paper would be, thought of Chief Sherles's office, and things kinda snowballed from there. The fact that I was awake at 1 writing that may mean it's the result of insanity and delusions. <_< >_>

Writing Purple Eyes's crime list was the second most fun part though.

Yeah, but game Mewtwo is heavily implied to having been made by independent scientists. Concretely Mr.Fuji and Blaine.

Also, we can use informations from other canons. Anime Giovanni is a man with an impressive build, while Game and Manga Giovanni have a quite lower profile. Manga Giovanni is dying of a Soap Opera Disease and is an example of a Magnificent Bastard, while Anime Giovanni is a Card Carrying Villian bordering on Stupid Evil (seriously, trash-talking Mewtwo? Seriously?).

Conflicting canons, not a single way.

For conflicting canons, I'd go with the game over any others.

True. I really don't watch the anime or read the mangas, so I'm kinda biased there.

I don't read the manga because I have an aversion to manga in general for various reasons, I usually don't bother with the anime unless it features my favorite pokemon or it's a movie, and I'm all for including game details.

I don't use information from the anime because I hate it with the fury of a thousand suns. Nor the manga, as awesome as it is, because it's often more ridiculous than the anime and games combined.

I generally stick to the games, as I don't watch the anime or read the manga.

Dunsparce didn't stop being a thing or anything.

I just mix and match explosively with care, giving the games preference but remembering they are videogames. After that, the manga I know, which is Special, and then the anime, of which my preference is Movies > Character of the Day episodes > Everything Else > Ash. Then add some spice from the Trading Card Game and, if I ever get to recall something, Pokémon Pinball.
