The point of this thread is to list your favorite tropers and say what makes you like them so much. Please be specific; we already have Gushing About Shows You Like if you want to gush about TV Tropes or the Forums in general.
EDIT: Chopped the list because it's now quite outdated, and there are some comments in here that only made sense back in 2009 and may have even been a bit creepy.

- Matrix - For occasionally getting me to think about language. All the conlang babble he throws out makes me look at English and German more closely and that is a good thing.
- Noimporta - The avatar mutating
- Magruda - for being a cool moderator
- Korg - for being a real life Knight in Sour Armor
- Meat - for having some cool ideas
- Melloncolie - Nietzsche stuff
- Meta4 - even handed modding and making me look at Gunnerkrigg Court because of his avatar
- Desrtopa, Karaloa, Insofar, and Jethro - for saying things that force me to look at my own opinions.
- Furiko - well for being cool generally
- Blackmoon and the rest of the Kunin circle(who haven't been mentioned already) - just starting up a doujin like this is kind of awesome.

Yay, someone believes I'm articulate rather than the opposite. I'm one of those creepy looking characters who spend the first half of the movie with just an arm, wields the power of maximum verbosity, and tortures enemy redshirts with it.
