I recently drew my KHUX dudes. Remind me never to draw the upgraded Starlight again.

As for my pulls, my main got Pain & Panic for the epic; and my alt got the really crappy Zack for the epic but got Pete on the side. Yeah, no Sephiroth.

I did a pull this morning and was thoroughly underwhelmed. No Sephiroth or Sora & Pals (which I wasn't expecting anyway), no reversed medals, no duplicates of good medals I already have for dot-adding purposes, and the only epic I got was Alice. I did finally get a KH1 Cloud, though.

Yeah, Kairi seems to be the guaranteed epic there.

Not sure how useful she'll be, it's three gauges for two tiers of Speed-based strength (compare two gauges for Aerith's one tier of universal strength, but my Lady Luck runs all Speed medals anyways.)

At least Alice is a good buff card. Something that'll be useful in the future.

As for the Kairi, I guess she's a little less versatile than Aerith thanks to the gauge cost, but can be slot in for really tough encounters.

Yeah, I'm definitely holding onto Alice because I can see her having future utility as the missions get harder. I also drew a KH1 Aerith that I'm going to keep around to sub in on Three Wishes if I need an extra boost along with my usual Vivi.

Personally, I loved the Lingering Will vs Terranort fight.

Speaking of 358/2 days and KHUX, who is this Xion girl on a medal, dressed in a black coat and is supposed to be an Organization 13 member, but there's only 13 seats, not 14. I don't recall anyone named Xion at all. Is this a new character they created to be a fourteenth member of Organization 13, unique to KHUX?

Well you just heard one, and I apologize. Serious time, why would there be a Xion medal in KHUX? So this book of prophecy thing can draw experiences from the future including things that don't exist?

As 3D shows, Xion very much exists.. albeit deep in Sora's heart.

it's just that no one can remember her, since the basis of her existence was Sora's memories (so long as she had them).

all the other stuff that was unique to her (her time in Organization XIII) still create what's left of her.. it's just that she isn't complete enough to exist.

So I'm taking the trope Ret-Gone doesn't apply? It's just that everyone who ever knew her forgot about her and she disappeared, but she still exists? I see.

I actually like the Xion jokes sometimes but that one was really forced.

They're supposed to be more natural. Seem like genuine confusion. And be a little bit more mean-spirited.

Well sorry for being in the "let me remind you we're not supposed to talk about her like Fight Club even though we clearly all know she exists as a character" mode while asking a geniune question about why she has a KHUX medal.

Why Xion has a medal in KHUX when I initially assumed she's supposed to be Ret-Gone (she isn't). Also apparently, Xion jokes.

I don't understand why Sora being unable to remember people means they can't remember him. Does Namine just erase the experiences that bind them, which causes neither side to remember?

Because Nomura totally forgot about them, any "legit" explanation regarding how they could completely forget their son without asking questions about stuff like his room and (probably) photos lying around their house invites too much bullshit. It's not necessarily a Plot Hole - since they're totally extraneous - so much as it is Fridge Logic.

she existed once. although the memory of her presence dissipated from the minds of everyone who knew her, she still had a physical form in the world. the book of prophecy is drawing on her power from that point.

speaking of time craziness, Mickey, Donald, and Goofy's being alive and grown adults in this game makes them much, much older than i originally thought in the KH continuity.

Toon aging is weird.

Chi spoilers: Actually, if I'm not mistaken, aren't those not the real actually Mickey, Donald and Goofy? They're like copies from the book of Prophecies or something?
