@Zelenal: No, I meant when you take a Spirit out of the three party slots and put them in the PC, so to speak.
But from your phrasing, I gather that only the abilities of the three Spirits in those party slots are accessible.
<takes in deep breath>
It depends on the ability, actually.
Like, abilities in the Support and Spirit sections are yours to keep once you unlock them.
Heck, you can delete your Dream Eaters and keep the abilities.
Your Stat abilities are based on the three Dream Eaters in your active party.
Support abilities are the red ones. Combo Plus, Scan, Treasure Magnet, Leaf Bracer. Etc.
Stat abilities are blue. HP Boost, Fire Boost, Magic Haste, Reload Boost, Bind Block, Defender. Etc.
EDIT: And, I mean. You always keep the Deck Commands.
...Actually, the mobile ports aren't that bad.

Still, whoever thought neutering a game like that was a good idea needs to not get ideas anymore.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Well, the only issue with the moblie ports is that the whole "Trust your Partner" thing is diminished when they're limited to just their fusion attack, and so you don't need to play them / let the AI takeover, but YMMV on that.

First, I wouldn't call it "neutering". The gameplay is still fine.
And I'm a touch disturbed by your seeming fixation on the topic.
I think I'd prefer the double screen version anyway. I had fun controlling two people, though it takes some practice.

Oh God! Natural light!I mentioned it twice in the same conversation. I fail to see how that's a fixation or disturbing.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!...Sorry, I was kidding.
I should have made it more clear.
Why are the most interesting discussions always held when I'm asleep? (grumble, grumble)
Going back to the Birth by Sleep point about all the characters being idiots and that the story doesn't work as a drama, I would very strongly disagree with that sentiment. While I agree that some instances are a tad bit rushed (like the meet-up in Radiant Garden), I believe that the characters, motivations and plot definitely work as a whole.
@Darth Taco: Eraqus is obsessed with protecting the light at all costs, even if it means obliterating his own student. In his mind Ventus' existence in itself is a danger to the stability the worlds because he could always be targeted by Master Xehanort or Vanitas. I mean Xehanort makes a whole point about how Eraqus is not consumed by darkness but by light, which, to me at least, sounds like he isn't in his right mind to make a clear judgement on that matter.

Check out my YouTube-channel, if you wantThat's probably the best way of putting it.
Speaking of which, I had an idea - a group of villains who believe (or at least some of them do) that the Princesses of Heart are "abominations", as they see them being born with hearts of pure light as a sign that the universe is out of balance in regards to light and darkness. How does that sound?

Oh God! Natural light!Eeeeeeeh, I wouldn't really like it.
Let the joy of love give you an answer! Check out my book!Well, it's not the sole motivation, just one of their beliefs...
Oh God! Natural light! As it's been said, Eraqus' primary flaw is that he's obsessed with light and has no ability to compromise. Xehanort is a massive asshole who deserves permanent unreversable death a thousand times over, but he is right that Eraqus has been consumed by the light and it's not a good thing at all.
Aqua is alot like Eraqus in that regard, but at the same time, she can compromise and believes she can save her friends and makes some huge mistakes in the process. As good as Terra, Aqua and Ventus are at fighting, that's all they can do right. Huh, does that mean the three of them Sacrificed Basic Skill for Awesome Training?

@Zelenal: Thanks! I'll keep than it mind for the next time I get someone coming over from the US (Latin American here).
Dopants: He meant what he said and he said what he meant, a Ninety is faithful 100%....It's mentioned a few times that Kairi ended up at the Mayor's house. But I don't recall the Mayor's gender ever being specified. Not in the games anyway.
Saix was a bastard. And I sorta like Donald and Goofy in these games. I'm actually a little bummed that they haven't been involved for a while now.
I just can't imagine Goofy being angry.
Life is more fun with infinite MP.Goofy gave Larxene a pretty nasty Death Glare in Re:CoM.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Considering that Laxrene just tried to murder Sora which is a huge no-no for Goofy (Don't hurt his friends), I'm surprised that Goofy didn't try to do more.
Well that was right after he tried to take her head off with a shield throw.
Eating a Vanilluxe will give you frostbite.Found this hilarious:
As per Kdramastars, there are also rumors about a scene where Iron Man recruits Sora in order to overthrow Darth Vader. The scene is to appear after the final credits of the game.
"You can't change the world without getting your hands dirty."Ok that is hilarious xD
In other news, I'm listening to this.
Discuss or no, up to you guys.
i think i mostly want to see what happens when this whole place breaks apart
No. That would be a horrible idea. For game to have its gameplay neutered like that is just- *shudders*
