Ask yourself this question: Does Kairi actually contribute to the plots of II, re:coded, or Birth By Sleep? Because Riku was left off, too.

Kairi was... partly... relevant in II. Organization XIII kidnapped her for use as a hostage to ensure that Sora would continue slaughtering Heartless with the Keyblade! .... which he ultimately would've done regardless, and which was even remarked upon in-game.

Yeah, I was gonna say... Kairi's roles in the games of 2.5 are relatively minor.

Yeah, they seem to be leading up to a greater role for her in III, but as far as 2.5 is concerned, her role isn't as large as the other characters in the featured games. I can understand why she's not present on the cover art.

We've already established that that's Jiminy's Journal. Riku's appearance is on the cover, but Riku the person is not.

Not Data-Riku, ASOD. Riku spent the vast majority of KHII impersonating ASOD. ASOD the character doesn't appear at all in any of 2.5's games aside from flashbacks. As far as I'm concerned, that's Riku.

No, I'm pretty sure that is ASOD, since he's arranged opposite Xemnas, and both of them next to Xehanort.

I'm not fond of this box art. More emphasis should have been put on the Kingdom Hearts II part instead of the Birth By Sleep part. And of course, Kairi and Riku are missing. I'm guessing that the logic is Riku doesn't appear in his actual form until the final world (but it's not really much of a spoiler by now). And the common argument for Kairi is that she doesn't have much of a role. She still features prominently throughout the game though, and takes a significant chunk of the original KHII box art.

But really, there's tons of empty space in the bottom corners where they could easily fit.

I was only half-serious with the "Riku, not ASOD" thing; but yeah, Kairi and Riku (as himself) should be there. Also, some of the character placement could be better (looking at you Data-bros and D&G). Also, Roxas looks a bit too young. I do like the Keyblade part, but can't help noticing that only TAV's are missing.

Terra Aqua Ventus. I love this boxart. Particularly how Xemnas and ASOD are shown as what they are, underlings to MX, and that Aqua is front and center rather than Terra or Ven, since she's really more of the protagonist of BBS.

The acronym should be Aqua, Terra, Ventus instead.

Oh my god. Kubo Tite, Urobuchi Gen, Sakurai Masahiro, Nomura Tetsuya, and Kojima Hideo all in the same place at the same time? I don't think the world could handle it.
