oh man, what if the pint-size model and the Bubbles model were designed to fight side-by-side? The Pintsize provides reconnaissance and fire support while the Bubbles model takes and deals heavy weapons damage?

Uh,, robots are generally equipped with all the equipment they already need. All a reconnaissance/fire support combat bot would need is an optical sensor with a telescoping lens and something to shoot with, which, you know, a death laser might provide.

Pintsize is fully able to manipulate 3D objects in complex ways without thumbs. I have no idea how, but it's why he's able to get into so much mischief.

Hooray! The situation sorted itself out, and the wrongful party admitted their wrongdoing and legitimately had a moment of embarrassment/humbleness as they acknowledged that they went too far! Which was pretty clearly conveyed a few days ago, but y'know. At least it's in black and white.
