I've taken to enjoying video game trailers for games I may probably never buy. For instance, I'm looking at Total War Warhammer when I've never played any Warhammer game and...maybe just played a Total War game at a friend's house a long time ago, I don't remember.
Looks pretty polished. Whole bunch of different units, whole bunch of maps, whole much of attacks...sheesh. I played Halo Wars, but it didn't have this level of detail.
It's fun when I can forget about trying to move out and just take time to enjoy things where I am.

My family has returned from their weekend trip!But that's the only good news.
The blackout schedule has changed.... and I found out the hard way when lights poofed between 7 and 10 am today. Ugh. At least they'll be 3 hours long only.

We went out to a coffee shop in Royal Oak; she had a cappuccino, I got a chai tea and a croissant.
We sat around and talked and got to know each other over the course of, like... I think two hours? Two hours of just chitchat.
She seems nice, though. I think we're at least kinda mentally compatible with each other, though she comes across as pragmatic and rational to the point of being a little bit stiff.

FFTA was fun, though it started out hard. Kept dying on that one mission and I left the game alone for years....
FFTA 2 was also fun. Laws weren't so restrictive, and there were a lot more jobs.

For the first time in 17 months, I ate a franchise burger. But the cost was far too high, and I felt guilty after having eaten it. I walked for four hours around a mall, so my feet were incredibly fatigued by the time I came back home.
Something I didn't comment yet: Lights poofed unexpectedly at 4 am in past Monday, which of course infuriated me.
