In which we get updates from the lives of tropers. Kinda like Twitter with more than 140 characters, but less than a blog or LJ.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.

I discovered one of my new theater group members is a nerd.
But she doesn't know about A Very Potter Musical, or that Darren Criss made it.
Her response when I told her that Blaine is Harry Potter: EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE.
CROSSING OVER GLEEKS WITH STARKIDS, ONE NERD AT A TIME.
My English teacher likes the final draft of my paper. Now if only my Intro to Education teacher would get back to me about what the hell I'm supposed to do tomorrow since the school I'm supposed to go to never contacted me about observing a class. This is not making me want to be a teacher. Not that I can tell my parents that, seeing as they think all I can do with a history degree is teach.

Looking for some stories?...turns out the candy I bought passed its Best Before date 2 weeks ago. Now it makes sense why it was so cheap. And why it tastes a bit off.

"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisAh well, candy is mostly sugar. Little in it that can actually rot.
Finished King Lear. Wow, even for Shakespeare that was one depressing ending.
My mom asked me to lunch for today but I told her I had to take my car in, which is true.
It's past lunchtime now though and I'm still to tired to leave, so does this make me a liar or just a horrible flake?
It makes you human.
It's perfectly fine to arrange for something later on if you want to.
And now for something... completely different.
From John Huston, director of The Maltese Falcoln, The Treasure of the Sierra Madre, The African Queen, and Annie (and that's barely scraping the surface of the guy's accomplishment's in the director's chair), comes the quirky Wise Blood, with Brad Dourif, based on the novel by Flannery O'Connor.
And at the top of the upcoming hour, as the timestamp on this post indicates, The Synchtube Troper Coven will be showcasing exactly that.
Come by early and enjoy a heaping load of crap (much of heard in Jesse Ventura's voice).

Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!Yay, weekend. It has been a day of blazing jurisprudence action.
Oh, Ho-Oh-HOOOOOOOoooooooooooo...
It's Kung Fu Friday, and later this evening The Synchtube Troper Coven will be enjoying an all-star cast including the likes of Beau Bridges, Jonathan Brandis, Mako, Joe Piscopo, Winnie Cooper, Bull from Night Court, and Chuck Norris as himself in Sidekicks.
That will be starting momentarily, after the usual grab bag variety of hokey dubbing and Godfrey Ho insanity.

My father told me to take this day off from work to help my sister move out.
She's at her apartment now not needing my help.
Then my job calls me and begs me if I could come in and work until midnight, but I tell them that I explicitly took off today in anticipation of being busy.
Only I'm not, so I feel really guilty. Fortunately it's slightly alleviated by having worked extra hours this week, having planned for this day for weeks, never wanting to work until midnight, and working more hours at that place in the last year than I ever wanted to. I feel like I deserve a day that I can say "No."
Every day is a day when you can say 'no'.
'All he needs is for somebody to throw handgrenades at him for the rest of his life...'Sure, but not every day is a day when I can get away with it. ;p
Parents are on vacation and sister is moving out, so it's just me and the dogs.
Presently waiting for her to get back and finish taking things out of her room, so the dogs are out back...I hate leaving them though. The big one gets really whiny.
I wish it wouldn't be such a hassle to take them on a walk. It's always a chore just for my parents to do it.
At the top of the coming hour, as the timestamp on this post indicates, The Synchtube Troper Coven will be hosting Yor: The Hunter of the Future, featuring Reb Brown, his mullet, and yet another one of several kickass theme songs from Oliver Onions.
But, first up, swing on by for another episode of Lexx.

pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSStop worrying so much.
I was joking anyhow.
Getting involved in Tumblr politics is like scratching a zit: it feels nice at first, but in the end more harm comes than good, and if you're not careful things will get messy quickly. The first and last time I got into a political argument with Tumblr users, it ended with me being called racist for being white. (My favorite part of these arguments is all the blind, narrow-minded assumptions.)
pearlina brainrot affects millions of people worldwide. if you or a loved one are suffering from pearlina brainrot, call 1-800-GAY-NERDSWell, yeah. It can be funny to shake the hornet's nest from time to time, but then you have to deal with the fact that you've got angry hornets everywhere.
Speaking of nests, it appears my home is being invaded by baby mice again. Goddammit.
but HOW?
Silly Parable.
The political structure of the Ottoman Empire has everything to do with Naval Warfare!
