In the E3 demo, they explicitly mention it's Americans leaving Earth, so...
Then again, there's definitely a Nopon in the game, and one character has a Monado hairpin, so...
So it's like Final Fantasy, where elements are consistent across the games, even though they have nothing to do with each other.
Xenosaga was supposed to be a prequel to Xenogears. Both were supposed to be part of a six-game series set in the same universe, with Xenosaga being episode 1 while Xenogears would be episode 5, but the would-be series had huge internal developement issues and it ended up canned until Nintendo bought Monolith Soft.
I think Xenoblade is supposed to be a Spiritual Successor?
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerXenoblade is suppose to have nothing in common with the other Xeno games. It wasn't even supposed to be titled Xenoblade. It was originally Monado: The Beginning of the World. Nintendo suggested they change it to Xenoblade Chronicles just because the director worked on Xenogears and Xenosaga.
Batman Ninja more like Batman's Bizarre AdventureThat explains why the Monado is the series emblem. And on the Attract Mode. And on the disk itself.
"It's liberating, realizing you never need to be competent." — UltimatepheerThere was a rumor going around that the New 3DS wouldn't be Region Locked. Nintendo quickly killed that rumor by confirming that they are the only ones to still believe in Region Locking.
So the updated version of a console that's region locked is region locked. What a surprise.......?
Trans rights are human rights.about 4 seconds after i started weeping gently to myself in the corner of the room i remember it doesnt actually affect me if its regionlocked or not.
damn you muscle-misery-memory..?

Eh, US is generally good with releases, but I can't get Smash Bros as a Christmas gift from my boyfriend's family in the UK. It saddens me.
And I'm certain there are fans of games that came out only in Japan, or only got localized in Europe...as rare as those games are. Or games that only got localized in the US.

Persona 3 Portable LiveblogOh and before I forget(Your post reminded me) SMTIV got delayed AGAIN for Europe.
Oh great. When it's due now, December?
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.I'm beginning to simply not care about SMT IV anymore.
October but they aren't certain if they will be able to keep to that month.
soon enough it'll be back to the original guess of 2015 before they went and said "oh wait we'll speed it along"
at least it'll keep my "2 years waiting period" rally cry valid.
Shit like this is why I took the initiative and imported the console.

Trans rights are human rights.I don't even want to import a 3DS just to be able to play SMT IV. I don't care anymore. I don't even want anything to do with Persona Q. I'm getting mighty pissed at how they keep doing such a piss poor job with releasing their games in Europe. Remember how Devil Survivor Overclocked took almost TWO FRICKING YEARS to get to Europe, with a Game-Breaking Bug as well?
I would have if I didn't buy the console when they went out on a Direct and said "Europe is getting SMTIV shortly after America!"
I'm done with No E.

i agree on being pretty apathetic towards 4 now, but Q is a completely separate thing.
its going to come out in europe this november. thats much faster and more reasonable than 4, and it's being localized by nisa rather than stupid nintendo.
I'm sure that bit could totally be chalked up as False Advertising. Because a proposed new release in October, which even THEN they are not sure if they can keep their word for, is NOT AT ALL "shortly after America!"
Are Nintendo responsible for localising SMT IV? I haven't read that anywhere. And with Persona Q, it's because I simply am not interested in supporting Atlus anymore. That's why.

Okay, but the point is that grousing about it won't change your predicament.
At least go to the SMT thread if you want to complain about SMT.
Trans rights are human rights.I'm disappointed because this means the region-free supporters will just get whinier. I'd be more willing to sympathize with their cause if they weren't so bitter about it. Yeah, I know they have a right to be bitter; just know that said bitterness is really annoying to some people.
Personally, I'd prefer if the 'net was a little friendlier, but you know the GIFT...Sorry, I'm done with complaining. ^^" But yeah, I should've said that in the SMT thread, but I saw it here first ^^"
The last 3DS games I'm getting:
- Smash For.
- Pokémon
- Bravely Second
- Persona Q(because Tarsen is right)
- Curtain Call
yes, nintendo were the ones who were localizing smt4 for europe. they announced it at the start of last year iirc?
and then the next thing we heard was a few months ago that a french branch of nintendo would be working on a digital only release.
(sorry for continuing this in this thread but...this is where the question was asked)
Endgame Xenoblade spoilers. You've been warned. I hadn't thought of that although it is theoretically possible that the humans and aliens they fight are some of these new races that Shulk created when he remade the universe. They probably wouldn't have America though since it's implied our world is the one Klaus destroyed.
