The name "Youkai Watch" makes me think of a monster collection AR game.

Which shouldn't be a bad thing if done well.

From what I've seen, a lot of it's success was the mega-merchandizing and it's anime. I don't think it'll be as smash of a hit here as in Japan. Then again, I set expectations low.

Who knows, it could probably be the potential to be the next Pokemon, or close to it. The problem is that, well, the game is EXTREMELY Japanese. Then again, kids may not care about that.

How in the world am I expected to get enough troops to attack the Fynalle empire in Warrior's Way the second time around? He's got 7 million, I have 1, and I need at least 2 to have decent odds. Spending 150 playcoins gets me only like 70 thousand.

Yeah, the final battle is pretty shitty. He always has more than yours unless you hit the cap. You need to win 3 times (4 if you lose once) when you first fight him. If you've already lost to him once, uhh, yeah.

Oh boy. And that's gonna be trouble when there aren't enough people around to compensate.

The flower game and the mansion one seem to work okay with just some small streetpasses out of the extra ones I've seen. Warriors Way and especially the shooter, not so much. And I'm under the Too Awesome to Use with my Pay Coins. Unless I hit the cap.

At the one million point, there is nowhere near enough people to compensate.

But last couplea times I hit him, he was always around twice my army's size, as opposed to several times.

...Do we have any numbers on how many people sold their Kirby:TD copies after completing the game once? Because I was going to use ALBW and TD to get PS 4!Diablo 3 for 99SEK but, despite being a newer game, Gamestop refused to take TD meaning I had to give them another game I was going to sell(Watch_Dogs) to get the price cut.

[up]I was smart enough to just rent it from Gamefly. If it has no replay value, I'm not wasting my money.

Your first mistake was selling games to Gamestop.

You can sell things to Amazon, you know. At least, I'm pretty sure you can.

Of course, you're still crazy for selling a Zelda game but whatever.

Seriously, people? I never trade in my games, but I'm not about to try and pretend I know someone's monetary situation better than they do.

If that was a response to me, I'd be hesitant to post in this thread again.

I cannot speak for peoples monetary situation, I can, however, speak for the utter scumbag nature of Gamestop.

I, too, see them as bad and wouldn't support them if it weren't for how family connections net me a discount there and how they're the only place for me to get the niche games (that make up the majority of my gaming) that I'm not getting a limited edition for.

I think I might have missed something here. What does Gamestop do, exactly?

From my experience, they give you basically nothing when you sell games to them and that's if you sell for store credit. If you sell for actual cash, they give you even less.

Which is why I wanted to use their 99SEK offer since it cuts the price of a new release from 799SEK down to 99SEK for the price of two 100% completed games I was never going to play again. The only time I have actually sold games for money was when I got rid of all my unwanted PS 2 games after my backwards compatible PS 3 broke.

You guys are really hostile to anything negative being said about Nintendo, aren't you?

You're crazy for thinking we're hostile.

You're also crazy if you think we're crazy.

I was building this up to some sort of joke but I can't remember where I was going now.

So there.

Gamestop is a bit better if you take advantage of promotions. I got Pokemon X for free because I was trading in a game worth $15 in trade credit. I don't trade often, but I didn't wan the game anyway, so there was no reason not to.

Play N' Trade was better about accepting trades, but that was their downfall, unfortunately.

For awhile I've felt like I haven't had enough Kirby in my life. So I got Triple Deluxe. Very charming and fun. It's easy sure, but that doesn't bug me.
