It's official - it's not even out yet, and the 3DS is already the best handheld ever.

.......Tha fuck? I haven't actually played either game, but I always felt that the artstyle, tone and premise were completely different. Too different for a crossover that is supposed to make sense.

Not really. Character who are in the same style as Phoenix are in the Professor Layton games.

^Yes. They promised DS games being playable on the 3DS, but not 3DS games on the DS. For obvious reasons.

I'm suddenly reminded that I should try and find Ace Attorney and Layton games used one of these days.

For Ace Attorney fans out there, how much you want to bet that this game will involve something tragic ONCE AGAIN happening to Maya?

This is awesome. I don't know anything about the Professor Layton games, but I'm gonna have to pick this up.

But yeah, this crossover makes such a weird sort of sense I can't believe no one's thought of it till now.

Well, it certainly looks better than I thought such a crossover would be. One more reason to get a 3DS, no doubt.
