I've seen pretty vocal groups within the fanbase complaining on how much the dub apparently sucks, so maybe that got to the developers.
Can you not, like really. Please do not.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Wow, that was really rude.
And is "-fags" still a thing? I thought we were past that.
We're not freaking out about the dub, just discussing a bit of concern because we happen to like the previous dubs. It won't prevent us from buying the game or anything.
And you're coming off as highly insulting.
Because a game which I have to listen to Taokaka's Japanese voice is not a game which I want to play (note, I have nothing against Chiwa Saito, and I actually liked her role as Lucchini). Audio presentation is important on how much you can bear to play the game, believe it or not.
And that's the problem; it is a visual novel. You think everyone wants to read walls of text without any voice to ease the experience?

Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru! Then just MUTE IT.
[[evil:Ahh, Kos, or some say Kosm... Do you hear our prayers? As you once did for the vacuous Rom, grant us eyes, GRANT US EYES!]]Right, everyone calm down before we have to start actually smashing heads.
"Yup. That tasted purple."I still want to actually listen to the game. Muting a game isn't really my thing.

Continue the bloodline, Fujimaru!Blazblue has the option to mute specific character voices for storymode iirc.
That's story only tho.
...I still wish BB woudl just use the goddamn SF 4 individual language thing, whoever came up with that is a genius
I'm hearing about the possibly of no dub. Don't have much to say except Blaz Blue has one of the few dubs I like and that it's absence would be really disappointing. Especially with it being the final chapter and all.

You know, I just remembered something that the anime could have done: CLASHING ASTRAL FINISHES!
Tell me, would that have been a greater ending to the Ragna vs. Terumi fight in the anime finale?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position. That would have involved good animation. And directing. And talent.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...Why is Blaz Blue still alive. Just to suffer? We're in the darkest continuum shift.
What if this last one somehow has writing so good that it melts our faces off upon reaching the climax of the story and the weirdness of the previous three games somehow has meaning to this?
I WON'T CARE IF IT'S NOT PATRICK SEITZ SCREAMING A BADASS LINE BEFORE SLICING IZANAMI TO RIBBONS.
Ragna, monotone: Heads up. -decapitates Izanami-
Izanami: Curses. -evaporates-
Eh, if CF turns out to have no dub (or a bad one), I'm ready... To just pack up and leave from everything Blazblue. Besides, I got plenty of other things to fall back on anyway. (Cough cough wheeze)
I would really miss Kate Higgins in action as Izanami though. Evil Brit indeed.
One more time, who's overseeing the localization since CS (an Aksys job)? Arcsys themselves?

Well I suppose anticlimatic is fine too so long as he actually dies.
"Strangely Compelling" are the ones in charge of localizing BB last time I checked.
There's actually one thing that I feel dubbing helps add. An impression I got from REVELATOR, was that alot of the new dialogue felt awkward and stilted in places. I honestly feel that having an english voice cast helps smooth that over, when they have to say the lines, and act as a litmus if it sound good or not. Then again, I don't have much grasp of how much the performances of the V As affect the script.
A corpse should be left well enough alone...I need to hear Ragna curse people out, or else my Bloodedge experience is incomplete.
