If anything die out in a huge climax would be something Terumi would prefer to just dying so pathetically in an anticlimatic way that doesn't even hurt the girl you were using as a pawn.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Yeah, I do think the "Saya is the Imperator and the real Big Bad" was a good twist...and then trying to say "no, it's actually this other person who has no relevance to any of the protagonists, just in Saya's body" is dumb and basically retroactively kills the shock of the previous twist.
I guess what I meant is, I like the Mikatoperator's character and personality, she's got presence. Yeah, she has like three scenes in CS, but in those three scenes, she sounded like someone who could push Terumi and Relius around and get away with it. And she looks cool too.
The reveal that she is some boring death goddess who wants to end the world because...not so much.
And yeah, I do think Terumi being killed off anticlimactically is probably the most fitting way to send off his character. Letting him ham it up even in death would just be letting him win, even if by just having the last laugh. Shrug.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.I'm not saying the Imperator herself is a bad character, I just didn't like the send off to whom was essentially the poster villain until she showed up.
Its like if Darth Vader met his end by randomly falling down a shaft and Palpatine took over as the Final Boss.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. That sounds hilarious, and Palpatine always did look silly.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I actually remember reading the Alan Dean Foster novelization of A New Hope and it had a prologue that claimed that Palpatine was a puppet ruler who was pretty much enslaved by Imperial bureaucrats. Kinda funny nowadays when everyone now knows that Palpatine put himself on top and is master of The Dark Side. His Electro Torture of Luke in Ep 6 was a good indication.
As for Terumi? He was screwed, plain and simple. He was Blazblue's signature baddie even if he wasn't as hilariously omnipresent and unkillable as M. Bison or as horrifically tough and fearsome as Shao Kahn. He's also not as flatout weird or irritating as Seth or Goenitz but at least he didn't debut in an unbelievably lame way like Shinnok did (Although nowadays Shinnok is fuckin' great)
Terumi getting so quickly offed that he didn't even have time to even scream "This Cannot Be!" is just...blegh. And for people that don't lik Hakumen, its worse.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowMortal Kombat X was pretty much Ed Boon and Co trying their hardest to redeem Shinnok as a villain, which they succeeded at. And also...
-MAJOR MORTAL KOMBAT X SPOILERS!! DO NOT LOOK AT TAGS IF YOU WANT TO GO IN BLIND!!-
note
A corpse should be left well enough alone...But errone lieks Hakumanz, cuz he so kewl :V
So I take it they succeeded in doing so?
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Well until the last act of MKX story mode, which is disappointing IMHO. Shinnok kind of devovles into a typical boring villain then. He's still a lot cooler than he was before though.
Terumi got by mainly on his charisma and style which he oozed. I'll say he's probably one of the fighting genre's greatest villains or at least until CP's maltreatment of him. He's definitely leagues above Seth lol.
Yeah, Shinnok fucking sucked in his debut. HE was literally Shang Tsung but without even the proper morphing technique or even his fuckind fireball and shield from Mythologies. Armageddon was a step in the right direction and MKX has finally made him good.
I also loved how he straight up used flowery language to call Johnny Cage a piece of shit. YOU INSIGNIFICANT SPECK OF FECULANT SCUM. An Elder God having a tantrum. Its very Sovereign of him.
Terumi was great before the story killed him like a jobber and before Extend swapped his and Bullet's tier placements,
Speaking of which, IZAYOI A TIER

I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowI honestly think Terumi getting offed like he did was kinda cool actually.
He was such a huge pompous asshole that managed to piss off everyone that he came across and he just gets unceremoniously offed like he didn't even matter.
PM box is Closed, Indefinitely Friend Code: 3368-4181-6850It's not like it matters, he's almost assured to come back. Death Is Cheap in this series.
The plot being being Hijacked By Terumi would be great.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.I seriously don't think he's gone for good.
You don't give a new theme to a dead character.
Either he's going to somehow revive for some Mori reason, or he'll coem back from the past or something. Or maybe Terumi from a successful future...
I think I've already mentioned my idea of Kazuma replacing Hazama, maybe with Hazama as a costume or something.

I never paid much attention to the MK lore, hmm?
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.*Plays a handful of rounds of CPX at an event*
Notices that post-round Stein attacks are a thing again*
I thought Mu was supposed to be nerfed in this game
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyYea, I only recently started giving a damn about FG stories since jumping back in. I did read up on SF so I guess I can do the same for MK.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Nowadays the backstory of MK is far more straightforward, no?
Given the 2011 reboot.
Street Fighter is weird in the story department to me, like I think that the story goes I-Alpha-II-IV-V-III for now, but that just runs into the Tokyo Drift problem of keeping to add interquels until the last chronological story becomes dated as hell.

So how do you think they should approach the story mode in the next BB game? In a similar manner to MKX?
With GG Xrd's artsyle? Uh yeah that would be incredible.
Or stick to sprites for consistency but go for Mortal Kombat 9/Injustice/Mortal Kombat X's story model. It woudl give a much larger portion of teh cast a chance to shine.
Oh and implement Injustice's minigames.
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowIjustice has minigames?
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does.Yup, they are like little pre fight animations that usually if you fail them net you a loss of health at the start of the subsequent fight.
They usually involved things like "Pelt Solomon Grundy with arrows before he gets to you" or "Use Heat vision to destroy the debris that Black Adam throws at you"
I'm quite confident in my shitposting you knowBonus points for the Black Adam scene has Super Man casually blowing up cars with people inside. Skip to 5:27
Well look at it this way, Izanami is the Big Bad, Terumi is The Heavy. Yea, the former is the central villain that the protagonists need to beat, but the latter is pretty much responsible for damn everything that's going wrong.
Its just...so unsatisfying how Terumi went out considering just how much of a personal enemy he is, not just towards Ragna, everyone. It doesn't feel right for him to go out so anticlimactically.
