Wish the same could happen to Hazama. Trolls. I fucking hate them.
Calamity Trigger True End GET! Pretty happy that it was a good end compared to other endings I got. I was pretty much confused on how to finish this game in the beginning. The happy end made all the hardwork worth it.
Question: The main page said that the 2nd game, Continuum Shift also contains part 2 so does that mean that I only need to buy one disc for both games? Just confirming. I didn't read through the whole thread, as per my habit, due to avoidance of spoilers.

I think I did something last night...^As I understand it (haven't finished CT yet), the Continuum Shift 2 expansion is available as DLC for Continuum Shift, or, alternatively, you can just buy CS 2, which contains the original CS and expansion.
Though as I said, I haven't finished CT, so that could be entirely wrong.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyContinuum Shift 2 is a patch for Continuum Shift that rebalances the characters and whatnot. You have to buy Makoto, Valkenhayn and Platinum separately.
Estimated shipping time: 2-4 weeks.Do Makoto, Valkenhayn and Platinum have separate story modes in CS 2?

Not in the console patches and I think they only become playable in Arcade, not Story.
They didn't become playable in Arcade in the console versions. :/
Estimated shipping time: 2-4 weeks.Which is weird because they have a arcade story mode in CS 2 which is only avalible in the arcade.
Quick question, is anyone else having trouble with the rebalance? I used to be a Ragna user and most of my combos were, crappy to say the least. I can't do my crappy Ragna combos anymore. I miss my GAULENT HADIES combos.
I've been a Noel main since CT so the rebalancing worked in my favour.
Estimated shipping time: 2-4 weeks.Wait... I'm confused. For example, I get Continuum Shift for the Xbox 360, then to get CS 2, I need to download a patch via Windows live? Then there are characters I have to download too via the same way? and they're not playable? I'm assuming console also refers to the Xbox 360.
I think I did something last night...Okay, the CSII patch you can get through XBOX LIVE presumably. All it does is add in the nerfs and changes that were made in the CSII arcade edition. It also changes the challenges quite a bit so you can see what's changed easily.
The DLC characters that came with the CSII arcade edition (Which is also the PSP and 3DS version) will have to be downloaded separately for consoles.
I see. That makes it complicated. About the characters: assuming I do get them, they are only playable in versus, arcade, training or possibly other modes that the sequel might have* and they don't get their own story modes right?
I think I did something last night...The DLC characters can only be used in Versus, Practise, Challenge, Score Attack and Network.
Estimated shipping time: 2-4 weeks.Ok. Thanks for the info. Btw, regarding CT's True End, what happens to the other characters? Does Arakune get a good end?*
I think I did something last night...No one gets a good end. They're all alive and miserable by the time CS rolls around. Except for Nu, who is so totally dead but reappears as a pirate valley girl ghost in Ragna's gag ending.
Estimated shipping time: 2-4 weeks. That was on of the most funniest parts for me. Pirate+Valley Girl Lingo=Win!
The news is that for the new PSP Vita, there will be BB CS II PLUS. Oh dear.
But it is compensated that they will have 6 brand new stories. Dunno if it will involve the DL Cs, but...
Rrrgh, this means the continuation of BB 3 is still far off...
And I'm willing to bet that this new stories won't touch jack about Litchi's current alignment, to make clear if she leers more into Neutral Good or True Neutral
Has Arc not learned from Guily Gear? Muppets.
@TCD: As far as Arakune is concerned, he just kinda shrinks back into his hidey-hole until the next game where you then find out the past relationship between him and Litchi and the Black Beast business. Spoilered version if you don't feel like playing through CS's story: Arakune was a doctor named Lotte (rot?) Carmine who was working with Kokonoe and Litchi, but he was obsessed with uncovering the mysteries that lie beyond The Boundary. During some unspecified examination of said Boundary, he absorbed a little too much seithr or whatever Phlebotinum lied within, slowly went insane, and ended up turning into the being now known as Arakune. In Litchi's story he manages to regain just enough sanity to beg Litchi to kill him, but she can't bring herself to do it.
Also, re: v-13 she's still alive. Sorta. It's complicated. Her spirit somehow got transferred into Lambda through the Power of Love during one critical moment in CS's true ending and during the epilogue the bad guys find her body in the Cauldron still intact, though what they do with it is left open as a Sequel Hook.
As for the rest of the crew at the end of CT, Ragna and Jin are wounded from their fighting in the Library, Noel tries to follow Ragna for answers, Taokaka is Taokaka, Tager grabs Lambda from rubble at some point, Hakumen gets captured by Kokonoe, Rachel still hates Hazama, Hazama still hates everyone, Carl is still fucking insane with his magical robot-sister and Tsubaki is torn between her love for Jin and Noel and her recent orders to kill them.

Uggggggh Arc is doing it again -_-
All the more reason for me to get that sequel. FOR LORD ARAKUNE!!!!!!!!!!!!!1*
I think I did something last night...Don't get your hopes so high though.
All I hope is that this is a bridging storyline a la Arrival DLC for ME2

So.... after seeing my younger sister curb stomp her way through arcade mode as Jin, I decided to try as well. Then I got to the final boss which was a Perma-Blood Kain Ragna which shocked me since my sister did not face an enemy like that. I lost but apparently I still unlocked Hakumen's astral attack and even unlimited Hakumen. If I had won, would I unlock something else? Just curious
I think I did something last night...You get to face Unlimited Ragna by going through Arcade Mode with no losses and ten Distortion Finishes. And no, I'm not sure what happens if you beat him either.
What's precedent ever done for us?
Thing is, people ordinarily loathe cute Mentor Mascots. The Madoka crew basically gave the fandom an extra-creepy version of what they were already prepared to bash, and then made him evil enough that bashing was warranted several times over. The fans, for their part, played along with good-hearted gusto, and Kyuubey abuse became a tongue-in-cheek meme.
