Just got myself acquainted with Soul Calibur V. On the one hand, one of my favorite go-to guys, Kilik, is gone, but on the other hand his son, Xiba (I think), is kinda hilarious. He's certainly making a better impression than Sophitia's. Patrick has usurped Siegfried as the new main goddamn character, and he's really goddamn irritating. "I'm the holy warrior! You're malfested, or at least small, pale, and sickly-looking, which is the same thing, you must die! And he's the only one that gets a story mode now! D:< In IV, everyone got one (II had just one, but you could use whomever you pleased and it was all interesting and shit), but now Mr. Diagonal Sword gets to hog the spotlight (or at least that of which that he doesn't share with his sister, AKA the original Damsel in Distress; seriously, even her guard is literally her cowering in fear behind her mom's shield, knees knocking and everything).

The new character creator is an order of magnitude more in-depth than IV's, and my reaction to it is one-half "Where the hell did all my options go?" and one half "Holy shit skeleton with sawtooth mohawk and chains yesss!" Damned skeleton did cost me my last 80 MS Points, though (Like I was going to use them for anything). They actually have quite a bit of options; most of them are just DLC. They also seem to have taken out the thing with Skills and stuff, thereby dumping the whole Rainbow Pimp Gear thing IV had going on. I can't say for sure whether I'll miss that. :/ So, yeah, there's my preliminary review-that-isn't-good-enough-to-actually-go-in-Reviews of Soul Calibur V. So far, I'd say it's worth at least the $13 (Surprised the hell out of me, too; I mean, it just came out) that I paid for it.

Pro8a8ly got sick of the place or drifted away, which seems to 8e the case for most of the old guard of this thread, or he's using a different name now or something (wouldn't 8e the first time he's used alt accounts, after all.)

Could always ask in A8sent People and see if anyone there heard anything.

He got bored and left a while back. So did a bunch of other people. Most of then joined HH later.

EDIT: Also, either the Minecraft servers are down, like they seem to be telling me, or my college's wifi is just shitty. C'mon, I just wanna play the friggin' demo and see if my laptop crashes or explodes or whatever.
