[up][up]The internet is basically a huge mass of people's thoughts, beliefs, and knowledge, all gathered in several databases, carrying anything from dreams, to theories, to dialogue, to news, to conspiracy theories, to forgery. It's also for many the perfect place to abandon their higher mind and give in to their darkest impulses.

It would be weird if it didn't have a connection to the collective unconsciousness.

Time never waits...

For the first time since April, picked up P 3 P again (Minato mode). Currently in early December. Can anyone remind me what the deadline for working on Social Links is?

Hrm. Something tells me I won't be able to max everybody, but I've done a lot better at doing so on this file than any previous one (managed to get Charisma/Academics/Courage all maxed out, for one thing!)

Well, I've only managed to clear the game once, and that was on the vanilla PS 2 version. Which I borrowed from a friend, and so have never been able to replay it.

Having trouble finding Daring Gigas in P 3 P. I know it's in the 5th Block of Tartarus, and I've combed the entire damn place. I just need one more to finish the damned request...

Since it appears Shadows that are outlined in red... am I too OP now? Do I need to change around my party and bring in some lower-leveled guys?

Red Shadows mean that they are normal ones from the next block up. If you are in a floor full of em...run. I think that means you are on a floor where the Reaper will spawn quicker.

A floor full of red shadows is an experience buffet. That's pretty much the best floor to spawn.

As I recall, there's several days when accidents are more likely to occur throughout the year- Talk to Fuuka and see if she mentions that before deciding to head for Tartarus.

I sure said that!

In case you don't know, an 'accident' is when you go to a floor you've already visited and instead of a normal level it's filled with stronger monsters, golden shadows, treasure with no monsters or is completely dark. I didn't realize that was what the game meant by that so I avoided Tartarus on accident days during my first playthrough.

When I was playing P3P I was running around with only FeMC for grinding and came across a floor of strong Shadows that were weak to Hama/Mudo. I think I ended up gaining 10 levels in 10 minutes. Needless to say, a lot of the game was ridiculously easy after that.

someday we will foresee obstacles

I managed to beat World Balance! I brought Junpei, Ken, and Koromaru, as none of them were weak to any of the basic elemental damage spells (Junpei has an accessory that makes him immune to wind damage). Ken and Koromaru were on Full Assault, Junpei was on Full Assault except when I set him to Healing/Support once every three turns so he'd boost the party's defense, and my MC was using Mediarahan every turn to keep people alive. The RNG smiled upon me enough that despite World Balance using Mahamaon and Mamudoon repeatedly, only one person got killed by in the entire battle, despite Ken being weak against Mudo and Koromaru being weak to Hama. (Ironically, it was Junpei that died, though Ken would have died — in the same turn as Junpei, no less — if I didn't have him wearing the Spirit Bracers, which let him survive a normally-lethal attack with 1 HP once per battle.) The turns the boss wasted on Mahamon and Mamudoon let me use MP-restoring items to keep my MC healing and keep my party attacking.

Still, it came right down to the wire. My MC was too low on MP to use any healing spells (again, after using a full-MP-restore item once already), and the boss had used Megidola about four turns in a row, so I needed to heal or risk the whole party getting wiped out. Thankfully, Koro killed the boss right before my MC's turn, so I didn't have to agonize about going for the kill myself or trying to heal at least my MC to keep the battle going.

After that, kept running up Tartarus until I got to the next boss, which promptly started kicking my ass. The Fierce Cyclops can one-shot my party members with their basic physical attack after they Power Charge, plus they have Vorpal Blade that hits the whole party, and there are three of them in the battle. Everyone died in fairly short order, but my MC happened to have a persona with Null Slash equipped, so he was effectively immune to both their basic physical attack and Vorpal Blade. Unfortunately, they have Primal Force too, which does pierce damage. I can survive one Primal Force from full health, so I ended up healing when they hit me with it and poking them with Bufudyne when they didn't. It worked well enough until two of them hit me with Primal Force in the same turn and killed me before I could heal.

This one I think I can get around with some luck. Really, in boss battles like this, with three enemies rather than one, if you can kill one of the three that's half the battle right there. I'll have to use Assign Target on one of them and hope I can keep my party alive long enough to take it out.

Edit — Ha, that was easier than I thought. When you get their HP low enough, they do Last Resort, which lowers everyone's HP by 50%. So I abused my MC's near-invincibility to plink one to death, which dropped the remaining two to 50%, then did the same with the second, which dropped the third's to 25%. A few Samarecarms later and my party was back on their feet and we killed the third in no time.

took four damn hours, but I finally got the bastards to spawn again.

MAXED OUT LOVERS! WOO!

Okay. While I prefer Yukari's Winter outfit costume-wise, I have to admit. Her maid outfit dialogue is damned funny. No mercy, even if you're maxed out and dating! [lol]

So, around what level should I be to finish up P3 FES? I'm still in the beginning of January (1/1, in fact) but I'm getting anxious to finish up the game so I'm wondering if I can just finish up the month or if I need to do some level grinding. I've already made it to the top floor of Tartarus, and my MC is around level 70 while everyone else is between 60 and 65. I'm not worried about bonus bosses or anything, I'm just curious to know whether I can beat the game at that level or if I need to level up a bit more.

Also, just out of curiousity, how long is The Answer? I have no idea if it's a few hours worth of Playable Epilogue sort of thing, or it's a whole new chapter to the game that adds a couple dozen hours worth of playtime.

Really from Jupiter, but not an alien.

It's pretty long. And pretty dull. I've tried to play it twice and only managed to get past the first dungeon since it's really boring when you aren't seeing one of the flashbacks. I checked those all out on youtube after that.
