...Words do not describe the awesomeness of this.
Yayana-split!
Timesplitters: Future Perfect was the first i game i ever considered to have actually "Beat". Anyone can kill a final boss nowadays, but that game sucked me in so hard i ended up completing it on the hardest difficulty and gold-medalling EVERY SINGLE challenge. It took awhile.
So, when it comes to any news going forwards of a sequel... YES PLEASE YES PLEASE YES PLEASE.
Wasn't there some concept art awhile back of TS 4 of a nun wielding a chainsaw?
Bleye knows Sabers.And cat racing.
About bloody time! If Free Radical hadn't been so determined to get fictional soldiers hooked on drugs, this could have happened a lot sooner...
Aww, did I hurt your widdle fee-fees?Yay! I loved Time Splitters 2 on the Game Cube!
Wizard Needs Food BadlyIt's about time.

You're giving me a splitting headache, Charlatan.
Jumping the gun, aren't you?

Jonah FalconAww crap. Why'd you have to ruin my hopes, Jonah?
I suppose it's not going to happen for a long time anyways. The last game Free Radical made (Haze) totally bombed, so unless they find a sympatheic publisher with some cash to spare the Timesplitters series is more or less dead.

Sadly, something tells me TS 4 would be regen health and cover shit.
^^ And that would be bad, how? I don't see anythign wrong with that.
Watch SymphogearWell, Crytek is fishing for ideas. Note they say "we don't know what to do with it yet."
Jonah FalconIt would be like giving the next Mario game platforming akin to Uncharted. There's some things you. Just. Don't. Do.
Here's an idea: Take Time Splitters: Future Perfect. Give us a new crazy campaign, a bunch of new challenges to gold medal and online multiplayer that doesn't rely on EA servers. There. There's your idea. NOW GIVE IT TO ME! -Froths at mouth-
Bleye knows Sabers.I'd prefer they take TS 2's gameplay really.
Just take heart in the fact it's no longer a matter of "if" but "when" now.
Jonah FalconI'll start believing it when I see it.
But for now, it's dead.
No, just no.
How—HEY! PUT THE MOX DOWN!! HOW'D YOU GET THAT ANYWAY!? Fucking hackers.
Just hear me out, okay? As much as I love Time Splitters (for the few times I've actually played it), I don't think that it should have a next-Gen sequel. It's not because I hate TS, it's the most fun FPS I've ever played, it's the reason I tried other (less fun) FPS's (like MW 2. . . ugh), but take into account the other classic games with next-gen reboots that either just didn't feel the same, strayed too far from what made them popular in the first place, being labeled as a rip-off, irrelevance, or just, you know. . .
- Bomber Man
- Bionic Commando
- Splatter House
- Duke Nukem
- Sonic
- Tenchu
- and others that I've erased from my memory
How do you know that this new game won't just be a quick cash-in via Nostalgia Filter? I mean, I'm all for a fun FPS that doesn't take itself seriously AND people actually play (TF 2 notwithstanding), but let's be real. A new TS would be like a new Crash Bandicoot: Yes, it's a good idea, but they could also sell you a box of shit that they know you will buy because it has Crash Bandicoot on it.

Don't ask what's wrong with me, because I don't know either.I say just leave it dead, I do want my good memories of the franchise to stay intact.
Edit:On the other hand, looking back on this post makes me realise I should be more open minded. So consider my mind changed. If I really want to I'll just get the old ones at the end of the day. :D

I don't think Time Splitters is even old enough to be a true heavyweight in nostalgia factor. Hell, not even a middleweight. Maybe just as a sendup to old-school FPS titles in general, but the series itself ain't that old.
All of those titles you listed threw out what made the games popular in the first place or had Troubled Development. Or both. Now that Free Radical's a part of Crytek i think they can avoid both. And last time those guys released a bad FPS it didn't go over so well for anyone.
And a new Crash Bandicoot is a terrible idea. The series died when Naughty Dog left it.
Bleye knows Sabers.
OH YES
