Ultimum: -looks to Asagi- I believe a ninjato is lighter than a longsword, allowing you to strike faster than with a long-sword. But the long-sword has more reach than the ninjato, and its weight allows for powerful strikes.

Ultimum: I believe human ninjas only sometimes worked in the shadows. In daylight they would dress up in regular clothing, blending in with the crowd. At night they would wear a suit of dark blue to blend in with the night sky.
