Point, but Capcom has that tendency...
Of almost always releasing sequels to their popular games? Yes, it'll take a while, but they'll get to it.
Okay then, I'll try not to seem depressed, plus, at the same time, I hope Marvel vs Capcom 3 is announced for the Wii, probably won't be, though.
Luke Cage?
Its Capcom. We've seen their racial sensitivity when RE 5 put you up against spear chuckers in grass skirts. I really think we want to steer clear of all of that. .

@Indigo Dingo.
Wouldn't worry, they did fine with Storm and War Machine, they might do good by Cage. Besides, Marvel would make sure.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Because they've always treated him so well. "Sweet Christmas"
They have, he was the first black hero with an ongoing and he's grown alot. He's even on two teams now.
So yeah, you worry too much.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"I want to keep Frank and add Chuck Greene, if they can base his attacks on the items and weapon combos and him not have moves to summon zombies.
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!Other possible inclusions from the marvel side:
Punisher
Nick Fury
Gameplay wise I realize they'd be quite similar and they are both basically badass normals with guns.
I'd support 2d graphics if it meant a big roster of well done characters.
Obligatory self promotion: http://unemployedacademic.tumblr.com/—R.J.
Why don't we just have Marvel vs. Tatusnoko vs. Capcom?
I still would like there to be a BANDAI vs. Capcom, even though that'd only make sense over here and it'd be nearly impossible to get licensing for.
But that would mean we'd get Spike, Haruhi, Lelouch, and more (Kamina, anyone?)
Anyone who assigns themselves loads of character tropes is someone to be worried about. We already have a thread for Other Franchises we want Capcom to fight.
As for the Punisher and Nick Fury, I know I'm starting to sound like a total buzzkill, but I think the balance really doesn't need another two guys with automatic guns.

@Though Fury has other Spy gadgets on top of his guns.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Well, he did describe both of them as badass normals with guns.
Im sorry if you think this suggestion is stupid, but is Kick Ass eligible?

The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit!@Tech Powah: No, he's owned by Millar, not marvel.
"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Dammit. figured out a plausible moveset and everything for this obvious Joke Character. Well, a joke compared to actual super heroes.
Anyway, does anyone not want more than 2, maybe 3, Street Fighter characters, even including Ryu? I understand it's Capcom's big ol' non-Crossover fighting game, but really, dont put too many sf characters.
on another note, how many remakes do you think it'll have? I'm guessing at least 2
The New Age of Awesome is here! Not even the sky is the limit! The Vs. series doesn't really have remakes, its usually not tweaked because they don't care about balance.
And if they diod have a joke character it would be Dazzler.
Seconding Deadpool and Squirrel Girl. Let's throw in Molly Hayes while we're at it.
@Indigo Dingo: Not really, a joke character would be stilt-man.
Deadpool is possible, but i'm not sure on SG or Molly. Then again, they had Shuma-Gorath.

"They truly were a Aqua Teen Hunger Force"Oh, that reminds me: Forbush Man. And Aaron Stack.
Lets face it - htere's really no end to the amount of Joke Characters we could bring up for Marvel. Or Capcom, for that matter. The Wii version of Frank West, for instance.....
Forbush Man is only a joke character against Boom Boom. And Aaron Stack is awesome even when he's a joke. See page image here

Oh, come on, the game's barely out. How long has it been since Marvel vs Capcom 2? 6 years now?
