Just post whatever comes to mind.
Please refrain from excess venting in this thread. Talking about negative emotions is fine but it's best not to dwell on them for too long. TV Tropes is not suited to deal with mental health situations.
If Oscar Wilde had lived in our time, he would be a /b/tard.
Actually, scratch that. He does, and goes by Jethro Q Walrustitty.

My random thought that I recently had. There's a trope I'm wondering about. Why is it that in TV shows, particularly sitcoms, women are more interested in religion than their husbands? Or at least more enthusiastic churchgoers.

I like to keep my audience riveted. That's a thing? I didn't realize that many sitcoms even touched the subject of churchgoing or religion. Then again, I don't watch many sitcoms.

Trust you? The only person I can trust is myself.Yesterday I watched Finding Dory. It was fun.
Also, the day before (or the say day, since it was after midnight), I started and finished reading a sorta-webcomic about a British police officer who falls in love with a famous thief. It was cute, if a little weird at times. Oh, the webcomic was four pages short of finishing, and it's in Japanese, so I have to wait until it's posted and translated. But afterwards, less than nine hours a new page was posted the translation came up elsewhere, so I'm not too worried. Have I mentioned I found it by random chance while trying to find something else on google? I'm thinking about changing my avatar to a picture of it, just because.
@demetrios: That's a good point. just look at Marge and Homer Simpson.

So, what do you people think about my new avatar?
All this talk about new avatars made me succumb to peer pressure and get a new avatar myself.

"If you spend all your heart / On something that has died / You are not alive and that can't be a life"okay, pastry, how do I clean up a nosebleed?
"If you spend all your heart / On something that has died / You are not alive and that can't be a life"Pfff, ahaha
I can't be the only person who gets annoyed when people misuse the word 'disinterested'.
It's not a synonym for 'uninterested', folks. Get it right.
simple asEr... did the site just stop working for everyone else or was it just me?

Awesome picture, though were you saying I did something wrong?
What? No. It's a picture of hairless Chewbacca.
Also initially I just pasted the link, because I thought it would just do what it normally does with links, i.e. display it as a link: https://tvtropes.org/
But instead it tried to render the image and said "NO HOTLINKED IMAGES PLEASE" so I just stuck it inside a Pot Hole.
Take that, forum... parser... thing.

What is a "hot linked" image, anyway? :S
