After finishing The Heroes Of Olympus, I've gotten into Percy Jackson's Greek Gods. Apparently I'm starved for modern analysis of ancient mythology.
I don't care how old Percy would have been when he wrote this, he's too smart. In his own story he was something of a loveable idiot, but in this book he writes a whole history of the Titans and the gods with his trademark irreverent wit.
Here he knows all his history and can make something up on the fly for like 300 pages. No guy who allegedly has dyslexia or ADHD could have patience for that.
I barely have the patience to finish one page.

I really wonders how did he even get dyslexia because he is supposed to read Greek...English and Greek are related. Very much so.
I should really learn Greek.

Dyslexia doesn't always affect solely verbal processes, although that's what it's most associated with: It's become an umbrella term for those sorts of disorders as a whole
It's quite possible to be practically perfect in one skill area, but lacking in others with dyslexia - and for example I cannot do some physical things but have a particular skill with language.

Percy doesn't actually have language dyslexia though. It was explained in universe that Percy was supposed to read Greek, and that's why he had difficulty reading English. The Greek letters are relatively simple. I was able to pick it up during my short stay in Greece without the intent to. Now, speaking Greek, however...
He still writes too smart! That's gonna bug me as long as I read this...but, I started, so I'll finish.

Windows 10 is pretty great. But something just... feels off. I can't put my finger on it. I feel like I'm missing something I had from Windows 8.1 that I used a lot that apparently isn't in Windows 10, but I don't know what it is.
Also, I am mostly-deafened. It turns out the ear medicine I took worked too well and has now gunked up my ears.
